As I understand it, the UIL starts with the borders in the 4 regions, and then works toward central TX in some fashion, instead of the other way around. So central TX schools end up being split in a different way than if you were to start in the middle and build from there.

Sounds like more bias in last few posts. Most of us are biased to some extent but few admit it even to themselves. I sure would like to hear from some relatively unbiased football minds that have seen both teams play this year.

WETSU I don't know about the part of the best rushing attack, but I would be curious to know if anyone has seen both Waskom and Rogers that might have an unbiased opinion. BUT I think your first point (Waskom defense will be the difference) is the key point. On the double reverse: If you knew for sure that it would end up in the pass, most teams would be able to defend it. But that play is performed amazingly fast and the DB that is usually burned has to commit quickly on whether to defend the run or the pass.

I don't think it matters, Refugio will not be able to stop Waskom, who will punt no more than once. I believe Waskom's defensive speed will slow Refugio down just enough to give them the opportunity to win.
