The key to beat El Campo, stop the QB from breaking off big runs, cash in on El Campo turnovers (carthage had i think two fumble recoveries and a pick and we only had 7 to show for it) and watch them on kickoff returns. Carthage had 374 yard to ECs 276. The QB got 226 of those yards, 185 rushing and 3 rushing tds. Contain him and you should be fine.

Had the stats, time, and yardage on their side but couldn't cash in when it was important. Not taking anything away from El Campo, they definitely fought back hard. Can't wait for next season to see all these juniors return!

Lol at the beginning of the year. We've went a couple seasons losing to 4a schools at the beginning of the year and then going on to win it all. I mean, the beginning of the season an the end of the season are two completely different scenarios.
