  1. First of all, who's crying? What, you can't handle someone telling you to act like an adult rather than a child? 1) The only thing that is fact about that comment is that it's your opinion! A fact can be proven. Saying that Bradford has year"s" left in the league can not be proven. 2) Again, I never said the comment was wrong. Are you not reading my entire comment? I have twice said (three times now counting this one) that I do not believe McCoy has an NFL future.
  2. Seriously man, don't make ignorant comments like that while trying to make a point about how things are other people's fault. It's stupid and it's childish. I never said anything about career. I apologize if the wording that I used in the original comment was misleading, but you can make a comment without being a jackass about it. I've also agreed that I don't think McCoy has a future in the NFL. My only point was to tell someone how stupid it is to make fun of someone when your own person isn't doing any better. That's all.
  3. Again, you didn't prove anything. My comment did NOT say career. For you to "imply" otherwise is your own ignorance. Bradford played in literally twice as many games as McCoy in '10. Why would I include that? Use some common sense! Learn the difference between implication and assumption!
  4. Before acting anymore like a child than you already did.....I could care less if Bradford won ROY. You actually think that proves something? Vince Young won ROY too. Where is he now??? As for as who has more upside, well that's a matter of opinion. Personally, I don't think either one of them has a future in the NFL. My only point was, a person looks stupid trying to bash a player from a rival school when your own player isn't any better. You can call me an idiot, moron, yell till your blue in the face, whatever makes you feel better. None of it will change the fact that my comment about Bradford is just that, fact. Because he hasn't done anything.
  5. Yup 2011 Statistics.... Cleveland, 4 Wins Rams, 2 Wins (4 would be higher than 2) Passing Yards, McCoy - 2,733 Bradford - 2,164 (2733 is more than 2164) TD's, McCoy - 14 Bradford - 6 (14 is more than 6) The whole foot in mouth thing.....Likewise!!! I wasn't referring to career. McCoy didn't start as a Rookie, Bradford did. I was referring to 2011 only as that's the only season they both started.
  6. You make that shot as if you think Bradford has amounted to anything so far. Colt McCoy has won more games, thrown for more yards, and thrown for more TD's than Bradford. And Bradford plays in one of the worst divisions in all of football...the NFC West.
  7. I do. Cleveland taking Weeded in the 1st Rd was a bonehead move. They have the 5th pick tonight. Weeden would have still be there then. They could have taken a top name player with that pick and still picked up Weeden in the 2nd Rd. Heck, he may have even been there for them still with their 4th pick in the 3rd Rd.
  8. Jenkins is done in Dallas after this year as he should be....He's garbage! He had one good year and everyone acts like it was the other 3 that was a fluke. When you're good 1 time out of 4, I don't think it's the other 3 that's a fluke. Jenkins can't cover for squat, and we all know he can't hit. As a Cowboys fan, I will never forget the game he literally stood up and moved out of the way to allow Brandon Jacobs to run past him for a TD.
  9. I've read and heard comments on ESPN that part of the reasons is because the game has become to much like flag football. Umm, so does that mean the regular season is next? Cause what's the difference?
  10. JJ couldn't stand that the world knew that someone on "his" team knew more about football than he ever did, does, or will. And that is why we didn't win more than 3 in the 90's.
  11. I'm a Cowboys fan. I don't care what he did or did not do after he left Dallas. However, as a sports fan, I'm not going to use one stint with a team who already had someone making their decisions for them (Marino), against him. What he did at U of Miami and then with Dallas tells me all I need to know about how much he knows football.
  12. He's also been the only constant in 1 playoff win in 17 years...A feat never accomplished by the the Cowboys before JJ! Sorry, but you will have a very hard time finding too many people who would give more credit to JJ than Jimmy Johnson for the early 90's success.
  13. I understand and agree with what you're saying. Trust me, as a Cowboys fan I have had plenty of frustrations over the past 17 years. And you're right, Romo has been solely responsible for his share of games (Jets and Lions last year as perfect examples). I also pointed out his complete fault for losing to the Seahawks. All I'm saying is, of the 4 playoff games he has played in, he is not responsible for every one of the losses...as many will claim.
  14. I don't mean to keep beating a dead horse, but I may as well seeing as how so many of you keep knocking it down. The QB is NOT the only person responsible for whether or not a "Team" wins a game. Here are just a few key stats from each of Romo's playoff games... Playoff Stats: '06 (Seattle): 17-29, 190 yards, 1TD, 0Int He had only played in 10 games coming into this game. It was his first career playoff start. And Seattle is a very hard stadium to play in....Just ask the defending SB champion Saints who went 13-3 and yet lost to a 7-9 Seattle team in Seattle. At least when the Cowboys lost to them, Seattle was actually a good team (went on to the SB) '07 (Giants): 18-36, 200 yds, 1TD, 1Int Defense gave up gw TD for Giants Offense had 11 penalties to the Giants 3 Giants just happen to get hot at the right time that year. Remember, they went on to be SB champs defeating the UNdefeated Pats! '09: (Eagles) 23-35, 245 yds, 2TD's, 0Ints Won game (Vikings) 22-35, 200 yds, 0TD, 1Int Defense gave up 4 TD passes by Favre (and 0 Int's) and 34 points O-Line gave up 6 sacks The Seattle game, okay, that one is on his hands (literally, he dropped the ball on the GW FG attempt). However, as I already mentioned within the stats, it was his first playoff start, in one of the toughest NFL venues no less, and still had a chance to win the game until the final play. The Giants game in '07, the defense gave up the go ahead score for the Giants. After that, both defenses played lights out in the 4th Q. The Vikings game in '09, Romo isn't the one responsible for giving up 4 passing TD's...that's on the D! Romo can't block, throw the pass, and then catch it all on his own. The O-Line has to block. But that's the point, the "Team" has to play. I understand the QB generally gets credit and blamed when a team wins or loses, but that does not change the fact the team has to play as a team. Trent Dilfer was not responsible for the Ravens winning the SB in '00 (and if you try to argue that, you're naive. The team went 5 weeks straight w/o even scoring an offensive TD). The defense scored as much as the offense did for them that year. Ben Roth had nothing to do with the Steelers beating the Seahawks (again, argue that one all you want, but they had to rely on the WR's throwing the TD passes). Heck, the guy set a SB record for the lowest QB rating for a SB winning QB ever! Eli Manning went 0-2 in the playoffs and took 4 years to win his first playoff game (and SB), yet he is praised. My point is, if Romo played for any other team in the league, he would not be criticized to the extent he is. The only reason he takes so much scrutiny is because he is the QB for the Dallas Cowboys!
  15. That's a very big "if", lol. And good and fair points with the Iron Bowl.
  16. I think you will find very few people that would disagree with that. And if they do, I don't care if they're an Aggie or Longhorn, there is something wrong with them, LOL!
  17. I think the perception of a rivalry between A&M and LSU certainly makes sense (and would also be a really good one), however I wouldn't really expect a "solid" start this year. I would imagine this years game, whether Thanksgiving or any other day, should be pretty one sided.
  18. Well see, your view of it makes sense. You're right, Arkansas is already a rivalry. As for the rest, the rivalries will have to be established. And as you said, LSU does make sense and I can certainly see and understand that becoming a rivalry, but I don't think many people would consider it a rivalry right now. The previous comments were making it sound as if it is already a rivalry, which is why I left my post.
  19. Over 40 games played and only once in 17 years....And you want to call that a rivalry??? Well hell, I guess Texas vs Rice is a rivalry too then huh? I mean after all, They've played over 90 times. So if 40 games makes a rivalry, then I guess 90 certainly does. But guess what, I don't think you would ever hear anyone at Texas or Rice call that a rivalry. They just play a lot. They're warm up games for Texas. A&M and LSU on the other hand, once in 17 years. That's not a rivalry! Let's test it, Any and All LSU fans, would you consider A&M a rivalry?
  20. Exactly how many times has LSU and A&M played in the last 10 years? 1? How about the last 20 years? So what exactly makes this a rivalry? Because it's "border" states? So does that mean A&M and LA Tech is going to be a rivalry game too?
  21. I'll say. Here is their last 11 games of the season, @SF Washington @Dallas Pittsburgh @Cinci GB @Wash NO @Atlanta @Balt Philly WOW!!! Then again, they only need to go 9-7, lol.
  22. Okay, so the NFL schedules are made up by a number of things, division tie ins, division vs division, etc. And one of the deciding factors is where each team finished. For example, if you finish 1st in your division, you have X number of games against other 1st place finishing teams. So that said, how the heck do the Patriots continue to get one of the easiest schedules every year....THE easiest this year, http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/56896/2012-nfl-strength-of-schedule
  23. I'm just wondering how Vick made the list of "extreme exception" or successful. How many times has he led his team to the playoffs again? People confuse the fact he is an athletic player with being a good QB!
  24. Worst secondary in the NFL and some of you want an O-Lineman.
