  1. Too bad this is as far as theyโ€™re going. Lol
  2. And for the record, I donโ€™t want Belichick. Heโ€™s done nothing without Brady, and his draft choices have been terrible.
  3. For anyone that thinks Belichick is the next coachโ€ฆ Why would you think JJ would fire Jimmy Johnson, but hire Bill? Theyโ€™re virtually the same person.
  4. That would be a great get! Iโ€™ve also read that Silas Bolden is likely signing with Texas as well. Would also love for Jabbar Muhammad to end up in Austin.
  5. A team doesnโ€™t have to have a first round RB to have a top running game. The RB with Baxter, Blue, and Gibson will be just fine.
  6. A lot of inexperienced talent in the WR room from recruiting had me optimistic, but still felt that group would be the biggest ? going into next season. Now, Worthy, Mitchell, and Whittington will be replaced by Cook, Bond, and Golden, with Moore, Niblett, and Wingo all likely to get reps as well. I now feel confident that the WR group will not miss a beat. Now the biggest ? shifts to the interior DL. Next season is shaping up to have more potential than this season did.
  7. Theyโ€™ve tugged the jersey like that a few times tonight with no call.
  8. Michigan has gotten away with several holds in this game.
  9. I was being sarcastic. Weโ€™ve all heard of his daddy. Lol
  10. I would certainly hope so after 6 years. LOL I think Penix is a great QB, don't get me wrong. But if I'm an NFL GM, that IS one thing I have to consider with some of these QB's. Penix - 6 years Nix - 6 years Gabriel - going into year 6 Alan Bowman - Going into year 7 I understand they didn't all 'play' the full season every year (except Nix), but when most players now don't spend but 3 years before going to the draft, and you've been there for 6!, you better be able to outplay them.
  11. Ryan Watts was a Sr, and the biggest liability on the team. I thought the entire secondary was the weak link of the team all season, but Sark is also doing alot to improve that through the portal and recruiting.
  12. My only thing with that, the same lighting didn't seem to affect the Washington receivers, at all, lol.
  13. I get that. It's frustrating for those of us that don't act that way, but I get it.
  14. My initial thought with Brooks, was with the injury heโ€™d return. With how deep the RB room will be, I now think he goes to the draft.
  15. I find it hilarious the amount of trolling being done by Aggies. I get the fact that you're happy Texas lost, but to simply act as if it's laughable they lost to Washington, or imply they shouldn't have been there, or that they 'choked', is truly ignorant. As for the game itself, Washington is a great team (again, to imply otherwise is stupid). Penix was the best QB in college football this year, and I thought he should've won the Heisman. He further showed that last night. I knew it would be a tough game and have said that since the matchup was announced. The one weak area for Texas is pass defense, and it's a big weakness. Even still, Texas had their opportunity to win at the end, and just came up short. As for those arguing 'Texas should've run the ball more', 'Texas should've run it at least 40 times', stop. Yes, they had success running the ball. They also turned the ball over twice, both in the running game. One of those, as they were going down to tie the game again late. They also only had the ball for 2 minutes in the 3rd quarter. Hard to run, or throw, more when you don't have the ball. My biggest question with playcalling, was the final 3 plays of the game. It all started with the 2nd down play from the 12, with the swing pass that went for no gain, while killing 5 seconds off the clock. With no TO's, that call made no sense to me. AD Mitchell is known for his ability to make the jump grab, especially in the endzone. It was clear that's where they were going on both 3rd and 4th down. I get going to him on 3rd, but when that play didn't work, I felt they should've tried something else on 4th. Instead, they went right back to him and it didn't work again. It was a great game between two of the best teams in the country this year, and it came down to the final play. As a Texas fan, I don't lower my head after that at all, as they exceeded everyone's expectations this year. I'm excited to see what next season brings.
