The mavs have made some changes on defense and it showed Friday night. How healthy are they?

It will be loud and Marshall will bring the fans, I agree Marshall has turned the ball over way too much lately against Longview and that killed them. Longview needs to get come out and hit on all cylinders. I have missed maybe 5 of these games over the past 28 years. EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED!

I have been going to Longview all year. GW 22-0 at the half I liked to have choked, but they did come back.

If Longview can keep it together they can be awesome, they have been banged up all year , speaking of that Aaron left the game did any hear what was wrong?

I think Longview will win, but they will have to come out and play 4 full quaters , unless they hit Marshall early and get them down quick, then it could get ugly.

I'm going out on a limb and saying Marshall will finish second or third in district.

Marshall can score they have speed just as Longview does, Marshall and Longview always field fast teams. I think thier LB Franklin runs a 4.4 and he is like 215lbs.

Both teams can score a lot, I think Longview can score more than 31 but they have to hold on to the ball and play 4 quaters.

To everyone who has not been part of this , you can throw the records out the window. It could be a barn burner. Marshall always has speed and they get up for Longview. Longview has had a good run lately, but Marshall killed themselves in a lot of those games with turnovers. I 'll say Longview 31 Marshall 24.

Thumbsup66 do you think they will play Bryce on defense any this year, I worked out with him at Elite he has gotten much stronger. Benches close to 400 or more by now and repped 185lbs. 37 times at the Dallas combine.

In 1998 the last game of the season (Longview missed the playoffs after being ranked #1) I counted 28 players on the sideline at nac. Fred Tally ran for a school record 300 something yards. But that was the lowest # of players I have ever seem at Longview.

Who was the running back at Gilmer in the mid 80's he was pretty good too. There have been some great backs come through east Texas!

I think smaller schools can compete, Evangel has a very small enrollment, Tatum from 05 to 07 put 7 kids DI and 5 others juco, they had as good skill kids as anyone but overall depth and lineman would have been too much for them to overcome. Talent is talent.

I wonder to what % McCray is healed . he still seems to be slower. I watched the DVD of last year this week again and he was awesome last year.
