i agree with fiddle, inside the tackles only. there is so much gray area when it comes to blocking back to the ball, inside out, outside in, to the closest sideline not being officiated by the official on the home side. and if we cant have inside the tackles only and keep it simple...outlaw blocks below the waist any and every where. would make my job and others a lot easier. while neither is illegal, neither bothers me. things happen and coaches get kicked out. does it set a good example? i guess that would depend on the asctions that warranted the ejection. by all accounts, the ejection was deserved and set a bad example of how to act on the field. as for the IVs, as long as a qualified person is administering them, i have no qualms with it. i am sure the parents signed a waiver allowing this to occur.

from all the news i am getting here in A-town, while committed to OSU, he is open for other options. as for mack not going after committed players, you can scratch that off the list. they are hot and heavy on sanders.

just throwing this out there....if he kicked the umpire i think he may have kicked....he never felt it, he had on his warm weather clothes. I know, I know, it was hot than a 4ballled tomcat out there, doesnt matter he goes to cold weather gear on october 1st when officiating football.... :lol:

I do not have a dog in this fight, but i will say that parents should not be mouthing the opposing team. It is bush league and highly uncalled for. I attended the first game between Crockett and Hughes Springs and witnessed only 2 parents that got out of line. One was told rather quickly by her husband she needed to settle down, and the other in a round about way got his. Just a little observation here....when you are getting beat 10-2 and your team hits a rocket of a home run, YOU DO NOT SCREAM AT THE PITCHER...WE TOOK YOUR @$$ DEEP, WHAT YA GONNA DO NOW???? What he did then was strike out the side. So in that round about way, he got his answer. Bottom line, we are all homers and want to cheer or protect our kids and team. What we all need to come to grips with is this, it is a game played by kids and we as adults should support them and what the game stands for. Oh and one last thing...I am no big tough guy, not some billy bad @$$. But you yell and scream at my kid from the other side of the fence and stands....we would have a come to Jesus meeting. Its called respect. Word

base hit, 2 outs, throw coming to home. pitcher cut it and shyouldnt have. runner would have been out by 15 feet. turned threw to catcher, not in time. catcher throws to second in an attempt to throw out runner. ball sails over everybodies head and 375 feet never looked so far. let the merry go round begin. simple mental error. shame it happened , would have been a real barn burner otherwise
