  1. It says reassigned, so does that mean that he is still employed by MISD?
  2. That is EXACTLY what I said, out loud even. I have seen every single game this season, (including Marshall in the rain ) , and I can't imagine Heath beating ANYONE with that kind of score. Go Lobos!!
  3. http://www.texasfootball.com/big-uil-changes/
  4. That purple is vile!!! Go Green or go home!!!
  5. I will say that PT may pull this out, but I am with 07.......Go Tigers!!
  6. Were you at that game? Probably not............ I saw a struggling team on that field, doing the best they could with the tools that they were given. No, the coaches can't do anything for them on the field, but they sure as **** can teach them before they get there. So until YOU know what you are talking about, why not keep your mouth shut.
  7. I have to agree with you Mavchamp........the boys on the field were actually giving it everything they had, but with no direction. I won't pretend to know anything about the ins and outs of Marshall coaching, but there were kids out there that really want to compete and fans that were cheering eventhough the odds were stacked against them. I truly hope that they make some positive changes over there, if only for the sake of those kids.
  8. Are you kidding me? So you are telling me that this is the advanced group of high school sports enthusiast? Now that is rich!!! Go Lobos!!
  9. Reading comprehensive is exceptional!! Not following instructions, true story!! You are not getting my point......You went on a rant about Lobo fans before you had the facts. You know what they say about people assuming things? Well, you made that point about yourself, loud and clear!! Go Lobos!
  10. You would think that the 41-8 whacking in Coppell would have humbled some Lobos fans. Very classless to suggest that a team not show up for a game. If I were a Mavs fan, I would keep reminding my neighbors to the west that at least I WAS ALIVE in 1990!! 1937 was a looooonnnng time ago................. Comment #15 - Posted by Nut Job, not a Lobo Fan Comment #21 - Posted by BEVODIDIT, not a Lobo Fan (he could be, but I doubt it) Comment #44 - Posted again by Nut Job, not a Lobo Fan Your comment was, and I quote, "You would think that the 41-8 whacking in Coppell would have humbled some Lobos fans." (posted it in case you forgot what you wrote) What Lobo fan said anything that would garner that response. So before you start giving me assignments, maybe you need to a little studying of the thread before you post something that was totally unrelated to the subject at hand. You were just trying to stir up an argument of unnecessary proportions. Why bash the Lobos? Why not Whitehouse, a Whitehouse fan is who made the comments to start with. BTW.......the rocket scientist remark was just as original as your 1937 comment. If you meant no disrespect, then you wouldn't have said it at all!! And as always, GO LOBOS!!!!!
  11. This may be the funniest thing I have read from you yet!!! Go Lobos!!
  12. You are exactly right.........it is very classless to suggest a team not show up for a game. Now we can include you in this classless category........NOT ONE SINGLE LOBO FAN SAID THEY SHOULDN'T SHOW UP! Get your facts straight before you start running your mouth about something you obviously have no idea about!! Yes, 1937 was a long time ago, REALLY? You sir, are a frickin rocket scientist!! GO LOBOS!!!
  13. That isn't likely, possible, but not likely. Coach King will most likely being looking at reps for the players opposed to points. I just don't want the frustration to come out and for it to clear the benches.
  14. Which one? They played both of them. Not perfect, but 100% better than last week. At least we have some confidence back after being deflated last week!!! Tonight it feels good!!! Go Lobos!!
  15. Does anyone know if NLR travels well? Are we going to be looking at empty stands across the way? I hope I don't need the distraction!!! Go Lobos!
  16. I think your thought process is very valid. Dunn does have more players in common with this team than Carraway, but ultimately he has to get them to work as a team. It may be to much to ask out of a struggling offensive line to adjust to a new quarterback. I just hope they have it in them to get it together. Go Lobos!
  17. By Jimmy Carter [email protected] Longview lost a lot more than a game on Saturday. Lobos senior quarterback Bivins Caraway will miss the remainder of the season after tearing the ACL in his left knee during Longview's loss against Coppell, an injury confirmed by an MRI on Tuesday. "It's tough, but everything happens for a reason," Caraway said. "Hopefully my team will come together. I'm pretty sure they will." Caraway said he has already talked to coaches at Louisiana-Monroe, who said they will honor the verbal commitment he made in June.
  18. No need to ever worry about Wolfpack. Yes, he has posted and no, he has not become a hermit. I am sure that someone will make a thread that he will not be able to refuse, and he will respond. Go Lobos!
  19. In total agreement!! Those Coppell boys did their homework, they were prepared and ready. I fully expect to see their name in lights before the season is up. Before this game, I didn't have any idea about them, because we have never played them. Our Lobos were out played, out coached, out sized and the list goes on and on. I will never bet against my Lobos, but that was a game that we were not prepared for, on any level. I hope that we see a different team come out of the Lobo Den this Friday, with #10 dressed out!!
