  1. Well I for one think this wasn't bs and 2e can talk about that in the other forum. As far as Pinkel, I'm shocked. He's a darn good coach.
  2. Given that at one point Temple and Memphis were undefeated, they are making the AAC look good.
  3. The year afterward, yes because he let go not only him but Michael Brewer. This year, no. Having said that, If Kliff was to be be fired, Lincoln Riley would be likely first in line for the HC position. Baker has literally risen his game in a new dimension by learning from the former right hand man of Mike Leach.
  4. I can give Ohio St a pass. Notre Dame, no way. Not even top 10 in my opinion.
  5. Staged my large hind quarters. As long as this continues to happen to minorities, people like yourself wouldn't give a care nor dang about it.
  6. http://www.beliefnet.com/columnists/commonwordcommonlord/2014/08/think-muslims-havent-condemned-isis-think-again.html http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/55f06f6ae4b002d5c0779b9e Baron, care to explain your expertise again?
  7. I was there for those games myself. One of the Lamar questions players on those teams got a scholarship to play at Tech. Name is Richard Jones. Turned his life awhile and is heavily involved in ministry and he is getting ready for tryouts for the league next season as a free agent.
  8. Well when you have students on camera screaming the n word and banners that post rape doctrine.... You make it easy for the other side.
  9. Chancellor and President aren't the same title nor position. President is the one people look to. As far as Homecoming....popularity contests mostly due to fraternity/social media/group association.
  10. Same thing can be said for what I brought up in the thread.
  11. Says the person that bathes in Faux News. Don't forget to get behind the ears with some good old Hannity soap.
  12. No qualm with this one. The Redskins issue is traversed but that group doesn't mind the franchise using the name. Last time I heard of PNG was 2004, 2nd round at Stephen F Austin. Kilgore 49-0 and Keith Gilliam had 3 carries, 210 yards and 3 touchdowns.
  13. If anyone has been to an opening kickoff frat party like SAE, expect heavy booze, loud music, drugs and date rape. And before you go into it, http://www.texastribune.org/2015/08/23/after-student-death-texas-tech-overhauls-greek-lif/ That's also not including a chant at a retreat by OU's SAE chapter that goes, "There will never be a n@$!@# in SAE."
  14. Colmes are you out of your mind, the president of the university is equivalent to the general manager of a store/site of a business. Any press especially negative towards a campus has to be handled by the president and the people under him. If the people under the boss fail, then the boss has to hold the line which wasn't in many instances documented. Colmes please refrain from the conversation. You are as bad as Kirt
  15. Colmes, I have friends and actual contacts at Mizzou for crying out loud and have been through that backwards state...
  16. I think for 1, my daughter isn't taking any hush money.
  17. On my previous post, there is a picture attached showing various kids twitter and Facebook accounts of what was happenning.
  18. Colmes, I see both sides of the issues first and foremost. Second, I interned for a Division 1 football program in the Power 5, Big 12 so please cut the bull. Would you really want your children in this environment? The president had to go.
  19. Colmes, many of those on welfare have a job. Yes you have the elderly, mentally handicapped and those who abuse the system and the government will deny those that actually need it. However, I have found more people in college on drugs and way less on welfare.
  20. Btw, If Gary Pinkel would of told his players to end the protest and force them to play, best believe his behind would of been out of a job too. And the black conservatives telling Pinkel and staff to look for a job would of been sued till they wore barrels and suspenders for clear wrongful termination.
  21. I don't know who these guys were but for this group to even say what they did in the link you provided as me think that they are cowards. If that was their child, you best believe that they would be saying a different tune. If I am a campaign manager, I would steer my boss away from the Missouri topic.
  22. I believe you need to go look up in a dictionary or Google awaken. While your at it, I believe you will find a picture of yourself in the dictionary next to the word sleep. Kirt if this Smoky thing doesn't work, you could model for tempur-pedicure mattresses.
  23. I was wondering if there was going to be a thread about this. Gotta disagree Colmes with this one and fully support the efforts of the students of Mizzou. Hate speech is still a 1st amendment right yet, people were being harassed! Here are some of the incidents: -One student smeared feces of a swastika on a dorm room door of an African-American student. Highly believed to be intentional. -The former president of Mizzou had an incident involving in a vehicle he was riding in the homecoming parade which he waited till after he resigned to admit his apology. -Speaking of the former Mizzou president, many students from various councils voiced to him their concerns of what was going on inside the university. The president conveyed ignorance which is something you can not do at the height of power. -Speaking of harassment, the incidents were to the point of having Mizzou campus police contacting the national Guard and other various law agencies because students were being harassed by members of the KKK and some inhabitants of Columbia. Security suggested that students stay indoors. -Many of the campus fraternity parties had in some instances to where they explicitly pUT on banners that no black girls or other minorities in other parties not allowed. -Outside of the race issues, many graduate teaching assistants were not getting properly paid or benefits such as health insurance. Many of these TA's from the humanities to the sciences carry out research, teaching undergraduate courses and in return get stipends, discounts on tuition and essential needs to finish their post graduate work. This simply wasn't a throwing the race card incident. This was a loss of control. Add in the hunger strike, social media in which users were talking about their experiences and live documenting them and the football team in protest and suddenly things changed quickly. Every talking head mentioned the $1 million thst Mizzou would have lost out on had this football game not been played. What should have been brought up was that had their been a serious incident, the agents involved could of been sued, the university-board of regents could of taken hit and as well as many of the students transferring and incoming freshmen going somewhere else.
