  1. I know he's got a tough road ahead to actually make it in the NFL, but it couldn't have happened to a nicer young man. Hope nothing but the best for Malcome! http://bigeasybeliever.com/2015/05/03/saints-add-wr-kennedy-de-wren-udfas/ Saints Add WR Kennedy and DE Wren As UDFA'sby Gene Higginbotham 22h ago The New Orleans Saints are still working on signing undrafted free agents as the weekend continues adding a wide receiver and defensive end to the mix. WR Malcome Kennedy, Texas A&M In combing through scouting reports on Kennedy one word keeps popping up…”slot”. At 6’0″, 205 lbs., Kennedy is said not to possess blazing speed but is more designed to work the middle of the field. For his Pro Day he ran a 4.56 40-yard dash, had 10 reps on bench press, 31.5 inch vertical, and a 119 inch broad jump. Another few words I saw in scouting reports are one’s that head coach Sean Payton has emphasized repeatedly they’re looking for, “tough” and “intelligent”. For his career Kennedy has 143 catches for 1,612 yards and 13 touchdowds.
  2. Lol, good one....and Merry Christmas to you too.
  3. Although you didn't agree with my comparison; I agree. Both usually give props when props are due.
  4. Waited a few days. Guess the comparison is valid speed racer?
  5. Exactly. And as far as comparison's go.....(these figures are from maxpreps and do not include each teams last games which were losses, and would sway the figures slightly in favor of Mart.) Mart in 13 games scored 732 points while giving up 213. An average of 56 scored and 16 given up; a 40 point win margin. Alto in 11 games scored 593 while giving up 157. An average of 54 scored and 14 given up; a 40 point win margin. These figures include the 93-6 win for Mart. Don't get me wrong. I have no problem with either team. Sometimes teams are just that much better and even with back ups in things just get out of hand. Just showing the comparison.
  6. Forgive me if I'm wrong but aren't you an Alto fan? If I'm correct "hello" pot calling. Take away the Itasca game which has been explained fully why the score was the way it was; the win margins are practically the same for Alto and Mart.

  8. Maybe that was the problem, they went to Corsicana-lol. I've seen Mart play a couple of times this year and I didn't think they would run into a better team than them in 2A. Listened to the game and they were manhandled from the get go. I thought for sure Mart would win state this year. Guess that's why I'm sitting on my couch commenting on smoaky and not making odds in Vegas.
  9. Mart has the best QB-RB combo I've seen since Kennedy-Shead. They're going to be tough to stop.
  10. I kind of wondered that myself. Probably had to do with the fact that Alto had the ball for what, three possessions the first half? Think the coach was probably thinking they needed TD's at that point. I'm pretty sure no one thought Alto would come out the second half and hold Centerville to just 3 points.
  11. How do you figure that? Alto gave up 20 first half and only 3 the second. Good half time adjustments. Plays just didn't get made when it counted. Got beat by the better team tonight, no shame in that. Play again next week and it could be a different outcome. Two pretty evenly matched teams. Best game I've seen in the playoffs so far.
  12. I have never hidden who I am on this sight. My sign in name is jsharp3353...James Sharp. I have deleted my previous posts on this thread because evidently some folks from Cayuga were offended by them and attributed them to my brother who is a coach at Cayuga. Coach Holden, who wisely does not view this sight evidently got a text from some Cayuga idiot saying that one of his coaches was giving away the game plan for the Alto game. Even if I was my brother and a coach from Cayuga, not sure how I gave away anything that Alto doesn't already know but whatever. I will not post anything else until after the game. I apologize for the aggravation I have caused to my brother and would respectfully ask that in the future any Cayuga fan that takes offense to what I post address it with me directly......James Sharp. Good luck to both teams, hope both come out injury free.
  13. You know what, I'll give you some props. You at least changed after the Carlisle game from no one in the district will score on Alto to Cayuga will score 13.
  14. Luckily we have them at home.
