IF they move 6 man to 109.5 this is what it would look at. I moved other numbers around to try to account for the bubble in 2 and 3 A. Again this is numbers only. No opt ups or schools without out sports. there is an ISD with 6 total. I'm sure they are trying hard to stay open. UIL just posted the official numbers not cutoffs. But just off numbers alone and including schools with no programs and no opt ups this is what I cam up with. Ill post 2 different ones especially if UIL keeps 6 man top number at 104.5. This is if the 6 man number is raised to 119.5 and everyone plays in their respected division. dang just converted the pdf to a google sheets file and organized by number if it weren't for opt ups Aledo would be 6a for sure. Going just by numbers they are school number 249. Craziness for sure. By numbers alone school 250 had 2266.

yes... I think there should be a competition among schools av, news or broadcast classes. Where the winning schools get to do the broadcast and comminate the game on a live channel. All done by the kids besides getting the signal out to a national audience and have the commercials ready to fire up an go whenever needed. Now which channel would be interesting.

Great job on the realignment and doing all the districts. I know that takes time for that many school. I'm just hoping for my own selfish reasons that the top number for 3A D1 is 554. But do to the number of schools in the top heavy numbers and opt ups I Know that it will most likely be higher. Oh well. Here's to hoping 7A will help with the disparity in 4a and 5a.

Wow.. just WOW.. the community and admin need to back the football program. If not drop it and do basketball only if that's what you want. But Central heights, Hudson, Central Pollock, a few more small school in East Texas area. Not many have gone on to win it. Football kids are tougher and normally at smaller school takes a few of those to win basketball games. Looked sense 2009 and in 1A and 2A there have 19 football schools and 11 None football schools that won State basketball but several of those non football schools are Lipan. I have to check for sure but I think 3A and above less than a hand full of basketball only schools have won state.

Hope so. Maybe going to this one, be worth the drive, got cousins in Cedar park I can stay with. Think the Lions get them on this one.

Henderson in 2010 got 3rd as well an won State. Carthage who got first and also won state that year played Gilmer who got 2nd in that district again in the 4th round I believe to go to the semis. They only took 3 teams then but the 4 team playoffs do have merits.
