  1. On top of everything else said here, this is an opinion poll. It means nothing in terms of actual economics. It's people saying they "feel" better about the economy. Also, better can still be pretty crappy if they were expecting another Great Depression. Inflation has made everything more expensive, but I FEEL pretty good about the economy!
  2. I don't think that applies here, but OK. But God forbid we expect people to do anything besides sit around and collect government benefits.
  3. I've done nothing and I have nothing. No bullets, no food stores, nothing of value at my place of residence....
  4. Mr. Opinion Piece, what is your answer to the crisis at the border? The federal government refuses to address the situation, at all. And their latest "attempt" is tied to funding for Ukraine. The Biden administration has proven time and again that they do not care about the MILLIONS of illegal invaders entering our country every single day. All I ever hear from you whiny libtards is about asylum. We all know that asylum seekers are not to travel across multiple countries. They are to file at the nearest place from where they depart. Asylum seekers also usually bring their families, and yet we are getting tons of single 20 year old men. "Protect our borders from caravans of foreign illegal immigrants? When Native American tribes tried to stem the tide of illegal immigration it didn’t go so well – and it won’t go well for us now either." What does this passage even mean? He thinks that if we wanted to stop illegal immigration, that we couldn't??? Democrats always want to address the issue backwards. They want to start with granting a "path to citizenship" before securing the border. That is bassackwards. You have to have secure borders before you can reform anything about the immigration process. But that is what the Biden administration will throw out as being "willing to work a deal". This guy clearly hates Texas as much as you do.
  5. Do you really believe that Hunter's business dealings didn't have anything to do at all with "The Big Guy"?
  6. There's the issue. Most of us aren't devotees to a man. It's the principals and what that person stands for. It's not hero worship for most of us. It's about results.
  7. So they're afraid of a "wannabe dictator" who was already in power and left office when "defeated" then "led" a weaponless "insurrection"? Sound like little #### to me.
  8. Or all the safety studies that were done before it was pushed out to the masses.
  9. I'm sure it contributes, but it's probably got more to do with the crap food that we eat.
  10. I'm generally against any of your stances, but I don't agree with shooting innocent people. I also don't agree that the gun manufacturer or seller are at fault if someone uses the gun for such. Since our country was started by a violent protest against a government, I wouldn't say I am always against it.
  11. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.... The government didn't make a law saying not to sell to antifa. A private business made a decision not to make a sale. Should make Barry happy. If this guy shot up a place, he'd want them to be able to sue the store owner and gun manufacturer, and probably the state legislature.
  12. The government and US people do not owe it to anyone risking their lives to illegally cross into the country to put their own lives at risk. It is actually pretty terrible of you and the federal government to ask our border patrol agents to risk their lives to save illegal immigrants who willingly put themselves in harms way.
  13. Par for the course...of course he would adjust the par to fit his needs too.
  14. Again, you move the goal post. It went from "we don't have election fraud" to "we prolly have election fraud, but you can't find evidence that there was enough to change the outcome of the election because we did a good job of hiding our tracks."
  15. Now if we could only take care of the other thousands of places that you can't carry....
  16. Have you personally witnessed insider trading? Have you personally witnessed a rape? Have you personally witnessed a murder? ### does personally witnessing something have to do with it. If he had said he saw it, then you would say it was just anecdotal evidence that doesn't mean there's a widespread issue. We did witness states changing voting laws without going through their legislature which is a clear violation of the constitution of that state. We also saw on video, poll watchers getting removed from a location and then vote counting continue.
  17. Pretty clever of those MAGA guys to wave the Palestinian flags!!!!
  18. Social distancing helps stop the spread of any contagion. That's not new. That's why schools close down when the flu epidemic gets too bad. The point is, things that should have been suggestions became rule because Fauci stood up there in front of the microphone any chance he got and told us these were the answers because he was the science. It's the lie of telling you something is factual and you are the expert only to come back later and acknowledge what was said by people who got banned on social media all along. But it should not be the government's role to tell people they cannot go places to protect them. This country was built by risk-takers. People who analyze risk and decide for themselves what they are willing to accept. This isn't Canada.
  19. Wouldn't the first automatically be the most aggressive until there was a follow-up that is more aggressive? Journalism. How dare he campaign. I'm old enough to remember someone calling Joe Biden a racist and potentially a rapist....and then becoming his Vice President...
  20. Purchasing books is white privilege now? Where does it end, Barry? You use this for every single thing!
  21. Nobody has any complaint about the race, ethnicity, gender, creed, or sexual preference of their flight crew. When you start changing qualification requirements to improve diversity, that is a problem. It's the same with the military. When they wanted to put women on the front lines of combat, it wasn't the fact that it was a woman, it was the fact that she couldn't do the required physical work and they had to lower the PT standards. Diversity isn't the problem, it's a lowering of standards to allow non-qualified individuals into spots they don't belong in just to check a box.
  22. That's racist and ID's are super expensive. But instead of trying to do things to help people get ID's, democrats just don't want to require them.....for this one particular thing. Never heard one of them whine about someone not being able to buy a gun to protect themselves and their families because they can't get an ID.
