could not have said it better myself!!!! i won a dallas cowboy uniform in the punt,pass and kick contest when i was a kid and the number was 17.i thought i was in hog heaven getting to wear that uniform with that number.heard a story about him on a cowboy flight where they thought the plane was going down.he was sitting next to walt garrison who was very upset and don looked over to walt and said "hell, walt its been a good ride". he was one of my all time favorites.

i think paying for parking is something that we are going to have to get used to.i will pay 9 dollars to watch a cameron and tatum type game anyday.

not trying to be a smart ... but why do you say that?this is the playoffs and can you fault these hosts for trying to make money.now if they were charging 10 dollars i could see your point but it was 3 dollars.were the concessions out of line?now at huntsville friday night there was no charge for parking but the concessions were a little high(hb,chips and drink -9 dollars).just curious how do the rest of yall feel?

our old coach (way back in the day) told us there was a difference in being ignorant and being stupid.ignorant was being unaware of something and stupid was knowing better but still doing wrong.i'm sorry but sometimes i dont know if some of these posters are ignorant or just plain stupid.

on some earlier post someone said the argyle fans were rude.went to the game to actually to watch gilmer but sat on the home side(argyle) because of the seats with the backs(old guys).met some very nice folks and didnt notice anyone being rude.to me they were just loud and proud and nothing wrong with that.their kicker is a game changer with the touchbacks that results in starting drives at 20 yd line.from the 40 yd line on in he is capable of making a FG and made several kicks in warm ups from nearly 60 yds.now he might not see as much action against carthage as he did against gilmer but he kept them bottled up all day after argyle scored.this should be a great game and good luck to both teams.

argyle's kicker is one the best high school kicker i have seen.

both teams will face their strongest opponent to date.tatum didnt play that well last night but still just killed crockett.for real,tatum needs to clean those turnovers up because yoe could make them pay.its like i said a few weeks back these are 2 of the top 3 teams in 2a and with d-field being the other.

carthage had better bring their A game because argyle has a good team.today's score could have been a lot worse.

this was a heckva high school football game.athens cameback from 20-6 down in the 3rd quarter.they overcame 3 turnovers that led to all 3 b-royal scores.int that gave them the ball inside the 4 yd line and a fumble inside the 20 leading to another score.the last came at about mid-field and the falcons converted a big 3 and long into a td.coach hayes offense found the grove and added 3 more scores and took the game from a very good brookshire-royal team.early reports were that athens and coldspring would play in huntsville friday night.

those mcgregor folks were the most stubborn group not wanting to give yall any respect.well you know no one beats them - they always beat theirselves.
