District 8 will be fun to watch as there'll be a lot of unknowns.

How many and what offense will GW stick too? How will the kids at Jeffy respond to the new HC and his scheme? Will Tatum be fine with Watson being gone on both sides? Will the speed of WO be too much for everyone in the district? Will LE make a run dropping from 4A?

We are around 3 months until we find out.

Gonna be an interesting year for sure. Gladewater's sophomore class is loaded and they have some horses in the junior class. I expect them to be much improved. Johnny Be Good has the talent this year with a much weaker non-district schedule......he betta not 💩 the bed this year.....it'll look awful.

LE gonna be LE with depth. Could end up being a problem, could end up being disappointing. I'd venture to say closer to the first one.

Jeffy is gonna Jeffy, take that however you wish 👀

We could start out rough with our non-district slate breaking in a new QB. I think we'll be settled in by district.

Sparks is gonna be a monster for Sabine but they'll have to find some defense.

White Oak gonna break records for "mph reached while running away from defenders."

Atlanta is a wildcard for me. On paper they should scare the crud out of folks. Gonna be extremely fast. We'll see if they can put it all together.

lol to the section in bold. I’m hoping LE has the same success Atlanta has had since dropping down. 🤣

By default LE will be lumped in at the top. Their depth department instantly went from an extreme disadvantage to an advantage. They have the speed and athleticism. They have the new move in QB with offers. They'll come in with confidence. They'll have to scrap weekly, though. The only game they won't have the speed advantage is against White Oak. 👀👀👀

lol we talkin about next year brodi not the past😂. we all know tatum used to be great i appreciate the knowledge.. Without that qb ion see that happening plus we return all of our skill guys and half of the O line

We also return both DEs, both OLBs, and 3 DBs from a defense that held yall to 21. Defense should be in solid shape. Offense will bring back the leading rusher, 2 of the 3 pitchmen, all 3 FBs that rotated, and both starting WRs(one moves to QB), and 3 OL. Yes, Watson and Gonzalez will be big losses but we return a lot of experience. New stars will emerge. I expect us to be in the mix at the top.

Before Watson was the dude, they had another dude at QB, before he was the dude, they had another dude, and so on. Keeling and Kubiak been creating flexbone QBs for nearly 2 decades. Yes, Watson was a competitor and a playmaker for sure. He'll be greatly missed. Bradley is a great athlete. He has two starts under his belt and both were playoff games in an offense that was tailored to someone else. With a full off-season for the coaches to get the offense tweaked to his strengths and for Bradley to mature more.....he'll be ready to be the dude.

You guys aren’t in with Atlanta. You are with Waskom, EF, Arp, WR, Troup, Jefferson.

Troup won the district meet by about 30 points over Tatum and WR who were 2nd and 3rd overall teams.

No clue why I said Atlanta.....I even knew better.

Tatum’s a big 3A school too. It’s not like they couldn’t do the same thing.

I'm sure we could. Not sure what our participation numbers are like this year. We aren't in that district for track, though. We are in with Atlanta and Jefferson.

Thats cause we’re developing well rounded athletes in Sabine.

Or have 6x as many competing. 10 kids placing 4th and 5th, and 6th in various events adds up 👀👀. Nahhhh, I'm sure it's what you said.

I think 10.22 officially is what i heard. Fast fast nonetheless

He'd be my RB in that spread offense next year. Yall got the defense spread wide.....that kinda speed gonna find a lane and once it does.....defense gonna single file in behind him. That Luke McMullen type speed, Jefferson athlete a few years back, as a sophomore.

Hahaha.....Roughnecks training top end speed!!! We football fast!!! #DTD #IBelieve #FullSpeedNasty

Boy, go on. White Oak and football fast ain't ever been in the same sentence together. So, yall ain't hitting top speed within 100 meters? Exactly how yall training them then? Got em holding on to the back of the pick up truck with it on cruise control at 20 mph and anybody that don't fall down gets a spot in that 20 mph club?

Capehart.  He is a Soph WR.  They claim the laser time was a 10.08.  👀  Whatever it was, he was obviously much faster than everyone else in that video by a large margin.

Odd for the electronic to be faster than hand time. And yes, nobody close to him

Say cuh......was that wind in lanes 3 and 4 blowing in their face while lane 2 had the wind going the other direction or yall been lying to us? Cuz I ain't see no 20 mph much less 22.98 from either of them lanes. Yall been clocking them while they driving the side by side from the field to the field house or something?
