but you are assuming the region is better because they beat white oak. thats no leg to stand on :cripple: . i saw the royals beat the yankees so does that mean that their conference is better?? cant go by 1 game to decide that. if it wouldve went 3 games, w.o. would have won the series. rogers capitilized on w.o.'s mistakes in that game and won-congrats to rogers. i think both regions are equally competitive in my opinion tho.

i agree with you coach jenkins. but he did state that connor was well deserving. so we'll let him off the hook. we all know, especially me, that you did everything you could to help those kids. not just your favorites but all of them. most of those kids couldnt even make it on a 1a team if it wasnt for you, or even the jv team for that. man are they gona miss you when your gone.

all we can hope for is that maybe foshee or stagner gets the job. they both served under the leadersip of jenkins. he has taught them both alot about coaching baseball. maybe they can install in the kids coming up the the same core values he taught the kids that have already played under him. he took average ball players and made them great.

if they do get jenkins from white oak, they are getting a true winner. what he has taught my son about baseball this past year will hopefully carry him over his next 2 years at white oak. as ive heard him say numerous of times- "all i do is win, if we lose its their fault". i believe in that philosiphy as well. my son IS and WILL be a smarter ball player becuase of the teachings he recieved from him. yes he was unapproachable and not a parent-friendly coach BUT the way he taught those kids brought out the best in them. he took a team this year that i thought wasnt very good and that he even stated wasnt very good and took them to another state run. its not the players that get you there, its all the coaching they received and how to put all the pieces togeather to make a team great. im looking forward to another state run next year and i just hope we get a coach with the same values he had. good luck coach in whitehouse. i know you will finally make them winners.
