FF will win this game but like has been said Mexia is more than likely better than their record. I have been in that really hard predistrict schedule before and even though you have played those guys and gotten better each week not winning takes a huge toll and is hard to overcome. Winning games even against lesser teams is still winning and usually has a positive outcome in district.

I don't see anyone finishing the district race undefeated, but the Eagles will get my vote for Champion!

Common opponent but FF played Rusk without 4 starters that should be back on the field by the time WW rolls around. So it might not give you the whole picture. Just sayin!! I will say that I think Rusk is much improved from last year and have the athletes to win some games! Hope that it is this week!!

That is what I was saying, no disrespect to G-Beck!! They had a good football team!! And as far as an upset in FF last night I think had we been able to take advantage of a few mistakes we would have won the game, but Madisonville is a good football team and have the characteristics of Mustang teams of old!! That game was much like those we played against them back in the 90's tough Defense hard nosed Offense and the team that makes the fewest mistakes wins!!

Rankings are of no concern!! Being unranked and beating folk is more fun!!

One of those cupcakes was Groesbeck, and I think we all know what they did to Madisonville in Madisonville. All I know is that things are rollin and the success this team has had will carry over for the next several years!! So I am sure the next schedule will be tougher than this one but the knowledge of winning will go along way toward future success! just my .02's
