HS and JH coaches don't go to college to learn how to coach. A good coach is someone that pays attention to details and was more than likely somone that played in high school or after. I know a few guys that have no business being a coach. In fact, anyone can go through an alternative certification program and become a coach...

PeeWees are great, IF they are ran correctly. They do more harm than good if no one is teaching them the fundamentals. That goes with any youth sports program...

Malakoff just beat Troup. You guys just beat a struggling Elkhart, come on now....

I don't really see much of a test here or in any of Crockett's district games. If anything, Troup will match up better with Crockett than Teague.

I think Crockett might be a step ahead of everyone, but I've seen Malakoff and Teague play and I think Malakoff can play with Teague. I've heard good things about Troup, so it looks like there's 3 teams going at it for 2 spots, in my mind...

Veer from the gun and they like to throw it around a little bit. QB is not super fast, but he has good feet and can make people miss in the open field. Good arm as well. He's their best player. They threw it a lot in the first half against CR last week and then came out in the second half under center, so who knows what ya'll are going to see this week....
