We knew something was wrong with CC football earlier this year in CKT but we never heard where the starters were. Any answers??

Very proud of a young team, only one error in H.S. baseball is fantastic. Great pithcing job by SR. McDonald and run production when needed. Looking forward to the rest of the season.

Mainly 30 and in but he has had several impressive long runs this year..He does a great job following his blocks down field. Who other than #2 can carry the load for Tatum, not saying he is not one of the best I've seen this year but a good team has to have more than one.

Not sure but #5 and #6 are leading scorers this year..

Supposed scandal is right.. UIL made the ruling of no wrong doing. All rumors with no truth. Lets not do this again this week. WE should enjoy a week of talking smack about 2 good football teams..

FYI one of the dogs speedsters has a high ankle sprang but even with him out LE, McKnight, Smith and Wheeler are a hand full. Wheeler has been pretty quite this year with all the double and triple team coverage but the other horses have done a great job. On the other side of the ball some of our secondary needs to take tackling lessons from #25 LE. Good luck to both teams and everyone have a good TURKEY DAY!!

Not as loud as we were back in the day. Most everyone is very laid back but if any could help bring us back to life is all the talk around the community and the build up of this game.I would like to say Happy Thanksgiving to all the smoaky readers and you to Mr. DirtyBird. Go Big Blue.

Dont leave out the DOGS it takes 2 teams to have a great game and I am very cofident we will give you a much better game than Marlin. Not saying Marlin should not have been there but when we played Teague the clock ran the entire 2nd half.

I am not texasgirl but yes he is. He played last week also but he just blends in with all the other speed.Nothing special so far.

Do you think there will be that many people there?

You go to the game Friday night and i promise they want make you eat crow but you will be the only one there.

He plays a little qb and wideout.This should be one heck of a game. Watched Tatum for the first time this season and if someone wants to watch a game that on every play someone could go the distance this is one they dont want to miss. Good luck to both teams and lets everyone remember thats its about high school kids playing a game they love.

Thank you dfieldfan and yes it is fun to watch the kids have fun and get to enjoy a sport they love. It would be nice to fly under the radar but with the points they have put on the board that becomes hard to do. We both know that no matter how much talent you have you must have some breaks go your way to come out on top. Maybe with a little luck we can meet up for the ultimate party. The 2A D1 State Championship but there are some great teams we must play to get there and they have earned the respect of not looking past them. Good luck and lets all remember these are kids just having fun.

I dont think anyone is taking it the wrong but what people dont realize about Crockett is that the population here is mainly families without school age kids. We have not been fortunate enough to have any new industry to move here to offer good jobs to bring young families to our community. Our on city mayor runs down the decisions that the school board makes. We are very pround of our new facilities and maybe things will get better soon. There is nothing we like any more than beating the larger 3A schools that are normaly in our district including the likes of Carthage..
