I have seen Winnsboro play against Teague and Whitney I have seen Malakoff play against Salado, Teague, and MV This is going to be the best game in the state at any level and if anyone thinks this game is going to be a blowout either way is crazy and just being a big time homer. Winnsboro offense is explosive and their defense is swarming but that is the exact same thing Malakoff is. Winnsboro looks slow on tape but in person they shocked me with how well they move and play the game. Malakoff is malakoff and there is a reason they are here once again they just play fast hard hitting football the driskell way. This is going to come down to special teams and turnovers whoever plays the best in these categories will set their team up for a win because I believe the offenses and defenses wash each other. Malakoff beat winnsboro 55-10 last year so you know winnsboro is gonna be at a all time high for this game So this is the question will the emotions get the better of winnsboro in this moment. The moment they have been waiting for all year to get back to this game against this team? How will this game start? I told Tatum last week that Whitney is the real deal. Winnsboro.....Whitney is the real deal but I believe yall are as well. This will be a great game which they should this round and beyond. Region 2 to me is the toughest region in 3A D1 this season all 4 have a legit shot to win the whole thing. I like winnsboro in a shoot out just because I want to see Malakoff vs Winnsboro next week!

It is not a playoff destination I do not know why winnsboro keeps playing there when there is a lot better stadiums. the parking is terrible

only reason I see 33 is bc of turnovers if Teague cant force 2 or more turnover I think the raiders can run away with it to behonest. So not saying your defense will give up 33 it will be a team effort for Teague to win

Only reason Whitney did not win their district was because they had 5 turnovers vs Gview...Yes it is part of the game but if they play mistake free football they are dangerous and I believe is the best team in that district. I honestly could see whitney winning region 2. Give me whitney by 20

This is going to come down to one thing the big boys up front. If Teague can block those big ole boys from west Teague should win big but if they have trouble like they did vs Centerville then I am going to smell trouble. Teague by 14

They are by far the best complete team he has ever had. The other teams had better plays but as a whole this is by far the best he has ever had and a State title will prove it

Everyone needs to back off Franklin and everyone needs to stop saying how bad malakoff schedule is because it doesnt matter who they are playing this year. Malakoff team this season is by far the best team Coach Driskell has ever assembled since being at Malakoff and after seeing the JV and 8th Grade squads it is only going to get better. I am looking ahead but if healthy I could see this team doing what Franklin is doing and what Cameron Yoe did a few years back and heck maybe even what Celina did in early 2000s and I am not joking at all on this Coach Driskell has something he has been brewing on and its finally coming together. As for Franklin everyone knew they take a step back on offense but everyone on defense was back for the most part so they took a step forward. They are still the kings of the jungle till they are knocked out in the playoffs. Columbus is the front runner imo for region 3 and to make it to Jerry world but it wont be easy. Malakoff same thing wont be easy but I see them getting to Jerry world as well Malakoff will beat Columbus by 14 at Jerry world to win state. All this as long as not serious injuries to any team
