Yeah, happened to us when my oldest grandson played for Overton when they got Bremond in the second round in 2016. Shawn Sartors #24 TE, 1st Team All-District (Had to brag a tad) playing against Bremond. That year was the third year in a row that Bremond won the state championship.

I plan on being there to shoot the game for DCTF

Real fans attend no matter the weather...

Was hoping they'd play on a different night. I cannot make it again due to being at the Overton game.

The game was played in four quarters of rain...the fourth quarter was a heavier rain, whew.

Sounded like the Indians gave Lovelady a good game tonight.

Thanks. I will say the announcer at the game got our Overton player names wrong all night long, . I know he had a roster. He was calling out the number for the correct Overton player but saying a name that wasn't an Overton player. I think he must have been looking at the Evadale roster names and announcing them as Overton players.

My coach never hit me, but he sure yelled and grabbed my facemask to get my attention, I definitely think there needs to be a meeting between that player, his parent(s), and school administrators. It could be when all is said and done the player and his parent(s) might be okay with a public apology. This is just my opinion as a father and grandfather of football players. Start the negative comments,

Well, I was mainly thinking of teams that currently play football, but theirs was bad.

I photographed a couple of games there in the past four years..think the sitting is okay, but I will say their field lighting is terrible.

Well, that's not an option for many people. Parking, yup they charge $3/$5 for the two parking lots (which are small). I will say Overton's parking has a lot to be desired, but a least we don't charge for the two main lots and the handicap lot.

I've been to a lot of 2A/3A stadiums and I think for me the worst visitor stand has to be Tenaha...low sitting seat, low seating capacity to name a couple...what's your pick?

There weren't three 2-way starters injured...one was a two way and the other was a defensive starter (ILB) and the one air-flighted was mainly offense (RB), he went in on defense when the defensive starter went out in the first half. I think it's been determined that the young man who was air-flighted will definitely be sitting out this game. The other defensive starter is day-to-day as well as the two-way starter.

Very good points... a good comment. I know on the opposite side of the field of this game, someone had a small loudspeaker. Don't know who it was other than a woman making comments toward the officials on calls she didn't like. At first, I wasn't completely sure I heard what I heard. I asked others after the game if they heard the same thing and they said they did. I would think something like that wouldn't be allowed in the stands. I know some bands use them in order for the band director to be heard by the band, but the speaker is pointed away from the field in the games I've seen them.

Every Year it seems to come up about teams advancing to the playoffs with losing records...what are your thoughts?

To me it appeared to have broken the 10 yard plane before it was gathered in by the Overton player
