Hey null Anyone on here know Coach King in person? Please let him know at this level competition you have got to put clipboard over your mouth while calling plays. I have a relative that works with hearing impaired and he said he picked up over 40 percent of the plays Coach called during the game Saturday !!!!!!!!!

Ask Number #64,#5,#23 and the entire front defensive line I've seen alot of teams plays in the last 20 years none even came close to Amarillo in unsportsmen like play, I felt like you know you couldn't win so needed a way to level to the playing field? Shame on Officials just one example: Obvious face mask no call 8 seconds later back judge comes up and throws flag, right there in front of god and Country Line judge was not going to make call !!!!!!!!!! Everyone concerned with Amarillo's Triple Flex Option, "duh" load the box and match up our Db's with their WR's force them to pass the ball. They pass 12 percent of the time this year the other 88% was flex and pistol runs. Common sense would tell you they will be profiecent in running football it is not a crime to make smart adjustments to this situation. Coaches don't let your pride get in the way of this season. NOTE: until they proved they could pass i would put 8 in the box!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 4 down linemen and 4 LB standing in the gaps - change it up blitz or back out

I have watched this Vandergrift team on Youtube very cocky and over the top arrongant, Longview comes out and hits them like no other and game will be over fast. Longview has got to come out aggressive with no miscues. Get it done Lobo's

I attended the girls game between Tatum and Gilmer last night, not withstanding the refs were horrible. Aside from that even at 31-0 when you go into the playoffs you have to know how to run a 2-3 zone properly definitely when you are undersized in the paint. After one quarter my game plan would be I'm not going to let #24 and #22 beat me. Double up and let the other three players make you or break you. Even if you insist on full court pressure you have got to tell your post beat their post to the spot and front and back her on ball side. I'm done

Good win for Henderson Boys on Friday Night, first time in 7 years against Tatum. I do have to say Henderson's Head coach has no class and the suit and tie he was wearing Friday night did not help or hide this statement. IJS The team is much better than their record shows.....

Two to three weeks early but here we go again, lot of soul searching on a three hour drive back to Longview from Beaumont "huh", Same old same old one day I suppose maybe three years from now after King Jr comes and goes Longview may become the dominant team as they should be. Three schools feeding into one, there was a incident during a Southwest Coaches Clinic in Austin where Longview Coaches got a earful of what If I had that kind of Football Mill my school would win State every year. After hearing of that situation I thought King would have bucked up and took it to heart. But Naw comments didn't work even from his peers that were at the clinic. You guys go on and on about the Kids have no discipline, One thing I learned as a Youth Coach you can cannot gain respect and discipline by cussing your players out on a daily basis, it ain't going to happen. Just Not. Fundamentals, Discipline and Respect beat Talent every time. I didn't include hard work in my top three because these kids work their butts off on a daily basis. Parents unless you speak up this legacy will continue !!!!!!!!!!!!

I work full time and more and don't have time to comb the resources to come up with exact stats..and performances. Replying back to Longview Coaches previous records from Maxpreps: Thanks to the tireless volunteer hours from the Longview Little League football coaches and the unappreciated work of the Tri-Jr High Coaches Longview will continue to have good records. This happens because of the talent level and being able to feed LHS from three sources. Now to the meat of the problem :If it wasn't for time outs taken during JT game we could have easily had 6 or 7 delay of game violations, Qb begging for next play clock ticking down to 2 to 3 seconds before snapping. You call plays two to three ahead not play to play,you set up one using the other. The cluster starts as soon as they get to LHS, how about JV staff member cursing out kids I mean really getting down and dirty for the whole half time period. Not talking about adjustments just talking to these kids like sailors. If I had a dog in the hunt he would have turn in his stuff right then and there. Longview should have a minimum of 5 state championships in the modern era with the players that have come thru field house of this school. As it stands as long as you guys staff have same thought processes it will be more of the same year after year. So my word to you is either quit complaining or take it to your school board.

Tatum will be alright, this is the most unselfish team I seen in two years at Tatum. Teamwork and Success is number 1 priority , score book with who scored what is a distant non factor unless you are a scout for another team. #orange/#shoed#kings

Tatum should be really good this year, one thing I noticed right off the bat they are not selfish and get the ball to the open shooter. On time On target, most of this group has played together since they were in the 4th grade and they have good chemistry. Tatum vs Center will be a gr8 game to see !!!
