Up 30pts and those kids get to play for the last minute of the game.What a joke... I'm sure most of those kids have lived in that town their entire lives unlike the others. The Patterson kid is said to be the son of ex Dallas Maverick Michael Finley. Word is he also got into some type of trouble at school and got sent to alternative school but conveniently got released the day before their warm-up game, just in time for the playoffs. It's just as crooked as DISD and a shame that the UIL let's it go on.

Would love to see Brett Shipp get on this story. He could have a field day with this. No doubt they are extremely talented, but it's another tarnished UIL champion.

Each year it is tradition at the SEC Men's Basketball Tournament to recognize the "Legends of the SEC." Each university selects one former basketball player/coach to represent their university to be recognized during ceremonies during the conference tournament. With this being Texas A&M's first year in the conference they have never been a part of this tradition. The Aggies have selected John Beasley of Linden Kildare High School to be their first ever representative at this year's tournament to be held in Nashville, TN on March 13-17. 2013. The 2013 class includes Wimp Sanderson, Alabama; Jerry Carlton, Arkansas; Ronnie Battle, Auburn; Bill Koss, Florida; Tim Bassett, Georgia; Jamal Mashburn, Kentucky; Geert Hammink, LSU; Rahim Lockhart,Ole Miss; Horatio Webster, Mississippi State; Norm Stewart, Missouri; Eddie Fogler, South Carolina; Len Kosmalski, Tennessee; John Beasley, Texas A&M; Mike Rhoades, Vanderbilt. Just curious how many districts out there administer random drug tests to anyone involved in extracurricular activiies and also what your thoughts are on the subject and how it has affected your programs. Thanks for your input.
