Playoff experience will be big for Lovelady and for them to win must get playmaker at Wr the ball in space with occasional run. Joaquin must win with front 7 on both sides of ball. Their offense is their best defense. Lovelady gets a few more big plays that the rams can't athletically make. LL34-J21

The schedules show Carlisle traveling for a win and Joaquin only playing 2 quality opponents. Indians only big win would be a beat up Alto. Joaquin is notorious for not covering behind the front 7. The winner goes to 3-0 and wins the district. Joaquin 36-21 over carlisle if they can force Indians to 3rd and long. Indians win big 42-21 if secondary plays like a bad Jr high 7on7 team. Winner wins district loser battles San Augustine for 2nd alto takes the last spot or they get new coaches next year.

I could see Tenaha getting hot down the stretch and making it a race. Everyone else is out. Im guessing the girls will end up like last yr with martinsville, shelbyville, and tenaha.(not in that order).

looks like it will be Martinsville, Shelbyville, Timpson for the boys. Girls side looks to be the tighter race. Those early predictions were way off on this thread.

I think Gladewater is as close to WOS as possible and I dont see Gilmer dropping this one. I would like to know what Newton did to beat WOS. I think close until the second half

Gladewater was underestimated in that game, Gilmer was tight but was limited due to Gladewater's play. They had them out of sorts all night. Gladewater on the other side of the bracket would easily meet up with Gilmer again in Dallas. Now I havent seen Celina play, just clips but I think it will be very hard for Gilmer to lose if they get insync early

Iola could win this one by 14+. When they get rolling they are hard to beat, and are a matchup nightmare with the screen game on the outside. If they move the ball in the middle with the qb and throw the screens with success Tenaha could be in trouble. If Tenaha get Caraway going early and defense makes some big stops on 3rd down they could march on to the next round

Rams melted down the stretch....bad alignment allowed for slant td. 4th down and no punt when defense was struggling was bad decision. Just played inconsistent all year.

I wouldnt put much stock into this, these same people were predicting a beat down by Sville Friday night. This thread is Ws Sville not Joaquin. Joaquin better learn the option or Beckville will send them back to the fieldhouse empty handed. Cushing was just nibbling on the scheme, Beckville will run more facets of it than them

Wasn't Joaquin there in 2009 when stadium was new If it's in Joaquin it's for sure in Cushing
