i haven't seen mexia play this year but i know they were good last year and if they have everyone back, they could make it closer than i think it's going to be. carthage is unREAL. they have size and strength like no one else we faced all year. and yes....we played the almighty buckeyes too. carthage will beat mexia by 28.....minimum. unless surratt calls the dawgs off early.....like he does every other week. they are a phenomenal team. the most physical 3A team i've seen in a long, long time. as for the carthage vs gilmer matchup that won't happen: you have two great teams with completely different styles of offense. i think gilmer's quick strike ability would make them the favorite if you guys did play. BUT carthage would have the capability of keeping the buckeye offense off the field by controlling the ball and the clock. which could easily make the dawgs the favorite. i think carthage has the better defense and gilmer has a slight edge offensively. why don't you guys put together a "bowl game" after the season is over. i'd pay money to come watch and it can all go to charity.

after coaching at winona the year before, it doesn't surprise me a bit. that place (fans) will make you second guess everything you have ever done in your life. from what i understand, he was supposed to be the assistant this year and the head guy left for another job......

YOUR statement about him RO2whatever sounds like he can't get the job done without good smart players. i beg to differ! sorry. i have not been able to get on here in a while because of work.
