This game has big playoff implications. If NB can find a way to pull this off it will go a long way into making the playoffs. At this point, all I want for NB is to play competitive football the rest of the way and find a way to keep the playoff streak alive.

I honestly can not wait for this game. I know we have struggled but I am just expecting us to have a little something coming out of the bye week. Should be a good game, just need to find some points and find a way to not let Kevi run all over us.

The problem is right now we just don't have a dynamic tail back, in years past we have had several. When u play new Boston you used to know going in you were going to have to stop sweep and power run plays, and the play action. that's not really the case right now because there aren't 2-3 running backs who can flat out fly like in years past.

Well for New Boston it has been a tough year. There are a handful of players who are hurt, hoping we will get a few of those back for this one. I know we do not look like a team that has a chance to make much noise, but I am hoping we might can find something during the by week. Maybe we can win this one, and find a way to win another one or two and sneak in the playoffs. Hopefully the coaches are coming up with a plan, they have won a lot of football games the past few years.

With social media, I think kids these days enjoy being friends with kids from other school districts. Back in my hay day we would of never hung around any of the kids from Dekalb. Just wouldn't of done it. Sounds silly but you did not want to mix with the enemy haha. Now though I think the kids get on facebook and twitter and all that and it takes the blind hatred out of the games. Maybe a good thing in the grand scheme of things, who knows.

Big rivalry game, New Boston has gotten out to a rocky start and will be looking to build confidence going into district. For the new Boston faithful I missed the past few weeks, is Devonta Wade injured?

This is a big game for NB. Need to win this one, get a little momentum going into the meat of the season. I think everyone knew going into the year the first 3 games would be rough with so many graduating. Now though, with Pewitt and Dekalb, it is most people's expectations for New Boston to get things going. I think this game will foreshadow things to come. I hope we can get fully healthy by district as well, so as important as these next two games are, you still want to keep those that are banged up out if they are not ready.

Do they have someone who will take it after all this? Sometimes this gets everyone to back out. Whose it going to be?

I have heard they are down to 3 and they are debating pretty hard between those 3. I think Monday of next week they are going to announce. The person who gets it will be contacted soon. The board is pretty split from the people I have talked to.

A coach who is in the Waco area has been contacted about it. Not sure he wants to leave where he is...but $ talks
