Game plan I saw….
1. Run Ricky, run Ricky, run Ricky - nutn
2. Run Brisbon, run Brisbon, run Brisbon - nutn
3. Throw a pass - INT
4. Screw it, take #3 and #4 out and let the future take a shot - TD
5. Return to step 1
Game planning and pivoting has been a weakness for this staff.

Kilgore punched the ticket this go round. Hopefully each program can continue this playoff tradition. This was the most lop sided and decisive win so far in the last 4 playoff matchups. Kilgore is legit, but we all knew they were.

CH better turn it on.

Here we go!

I sure hope the CH coaches have been able to put together a solid game plan now that all the pieces are back at full go. Game planning and in-game adjustments have been a struggle in the playoff games that were lost over the past few years. Gotta be able to pivot if necessary.

Impressive for sure. I just see a 2014-2021 Era coming. Could be much shorter though. I just know Lindale/Kilgore will be the new matchup the next couple of years.
Time will tell. CH would rather prove it in the field than try to convince everyone on a sports forum.

True but this is also an open forum that everyone is welcome to post on. You are the one that keeps bringing Lindale back into the conversation.
@Jakeelee05 why you worried about it then. “It’s an open forum that everyone is welcome to post on.” @billshakes is the one calling Lindale a daddy, but they can’t win when it matters.

Alright, alright, I’ll admit I’m hating from outside the club a little bit. But let’s be real—Lindale has consistently dominated Chapel Hill. This will be their last trip to the 4th round for years… the run is over.
Go Kilgore!
2006 - 2nd round (Lost to LE who won SC)
2007 - 2nd round (Lost to PG who lost to Glen Rose who lost to Celina)
2008 - 2nd round (Lost to LaVega who won SC)
2010 - 5th round (shorter playoffs) - Lost to Henderson in SC)
2011 - 6th round - Won SC
2013 - 4th round (Lost to Kilgore who lost SC to Carthage)
2014 - 2nd round (lost to Navasota who won SC)
2021 - 5th round (lost to LBJ who lost SC to Stephenville)
2022 - 5th round (lost to Boerne who lost SC to China Spring)
2023 - 6th round (lost to Anna who won SC)
2024 - 4th round so far
11 playoff appearances since 2006 season
3 state championship appearances
In all but 1 of the 11 appearances CH has either played for the state title or lost to a team that played for the state title.
This is across 4 different HC, one of which, Jason Hooker, was an absolute joke that only lasted a short time. CH has proven they have what it takes to sustain a program It’s not just a two pony show.

What does the last 3 years have to do with this year? Nothing!
Absolutely nothing but bulletin board material. What matters now is what each team puts forth on Friday night. Game plan, effort, mistakes, etc between the whistles. That’s what will decide this game.

Seems to me Lindale has really gotten under skin. If they are so irrelevant then why are you bringing them up so much. Worry about the opponent in front of you because I have a feeling CH will be right there playing basketball with Lindale come next week
@Jakeelee05 I don’t need to worry about anything. I’m lot a player or a coach. Lindale is the ones on a CH/Kilgore forum two weeks after they butt fumbled what should have been an easy win claiming to be CH’s daddy.

@Jakeelee05 I don’t need to worry about anything. I’m not a player or a coach.

Win or lose Friday, I’m very impressed with what these young men have done for the CH program over the last 4 years. Expectations have gone way, way up from the coach hooker days. It’s been a good run, and I hope it lasts another couple of weeks.

@BillShakes Every good father lets their son win when the game is in the backyard. But when it’s time to really go to work, the kids don’t get to come.

@BillShakes another day of CH and Kilgore prepping for a football game, and another day of Lindale wishing they were good enough to win more than one playoff game in a year. One of the biggest schools in 4AD1 and can’t pull out even a halfway decent playoff run.

I remember this game last year Rio went to a two back set. I think we will see a lot of Stewart and brisbon in the backfield.
I love seeing 2-3 backs in the backfield.

Lindale fans, just so yall know, CH is almost sold out of playoff t-shirts. CH sent a bunch to the Lindale field house, so it would be easier for y’all to buy one. CH really appreciates all the attention and support over these last 4 years as they make deep runs and rep the district.

Red Dogs by 2-3 Touchdowns.
Kilgore is the better team hands down. Chapel Hill has a pretty good defense and two really good athletes on offense, but Kilgore is loaded across the board. This is their year in my opinion.
I would say CH has more than just 2 really good athletes. Maybe not loaded across the board like Kilgore, but there’s a couple players in particular that fly under the radar of the Stewart/Bris hype. Brooks in particular is a game changer when he’s on the field.

I have nothing but respect for Chapel Hill....they have been the hump we just could not figure out how to get over the past 3 years and I would be lying if I said, I wasn't worried again going into this one....I'm highly confident though this years Kilgore team just seems different...the way they have been playing ever since Henderson game is just insane...we have been averaging 51 pts on offense and only allowing 8 on defense..(2 pts on defense if you take away pts scored on 2nd team)....I know Chapel Hill was not at full strength the first time and have been playing better ever since and I fully expect them to give Kilgore everything they can handle....but, I just truly feel that if Kilgore continues playing the way they have been and executes....Kilgore will get over the hump finally!!!.....just got to start fast and keep that foot on the gas!!.....when this team plays well in all 3 phases it will take a special team to beat them...
I definitely think Kilgore is deserving of being the favorite in this game. Defense looks to be the best in the last 4 years to me, and the previous 3 years the defense wasn’t bad. That may be the difference maker for Kilgore to finally win one. I’m Hoping not for the sake of the CH boys.

Well, good morning to Another day that CH and Kilgore are still playing football and Lindale is left to trolling on here talking about it.

Struggled last night. They played what may be the best defense in 4AD1.
