  1. Are you serious??? There is no way CH could beat LT. You completely jacked up what was meant by the original comment. I said WH had a good offense, and you said, they got beat by a 3a team. Bottom line, WH does have one of the most explosive offenses in east texas, and they have lost to good teams. They put up at least 35 points in each one of their losses. Longview and CH don't have a place on this thread. LT would beat Longview THIS year (IMO), but there is no way to test this theory, so we should agree to disagree. JT will likely beat the pants off of WH, and I will still consider them to have an explosive offense.
  2. He wasn't referring to two years ago, he was reffering to this year, and the reason he compared LT to CH is because they are ranked "numero uno" in their respective classifications. He wasn't saying CH is as good as LT, but just pointing out the fact that Longview would lose to LT, much like WH lost to CH.
  3. Hey now. I was watching the CH vs. Bullard game. Your entitled to your opinions and predictions and so am I. I'm not the bad guy, just because I think Bullard will win, and like I said, if I'm wrong I will gladly get on here and give credit where it is due. I just see Bullard taking this to a slugfest, and I don't think Athens will have as much fight in them as Bullard (JMO). I may be wrong, but you may be wrong, and that is why on Friday night at 7:30, they will have 48 minutes (unless it goes to overtime :) ) of throwdown, so that there is no doubt which team is better.
  4. I'm a huge fan of that 3a team, and there is a chance they will be crowned the best 3a team in the state come December. WH did put up almost 50 points on them, and have 500 passing yards against them. They don't have THE best offense, but it is ONE of the most explosive. +1 Good point
  5. WH does have one of the most explosive offenses in east Texas, but I think JT is even more explosive.
  6. JT will see there closest district competition Friday night, but it still doesn't look good for WH. I know some ppl in WH and they aren't expecting a win.
  7. Wrecker12 is Tyler bates!!!!!
  8. If Bullard doesn't win this game I will gladly get on here Saturday and say that Athens was better, but after watching Bullard on friday night, I see them winning this game. I don't think Athens will have as much fight in them as Bullard.
  9. I think van will take the eagles down.
  10. Oh my. I hate that for a young athlete. I hope he gets back on the field soon.
  11. i guess Frankston doesn't eat crow very well.
  12. FYI, I didn't have crow to eat. I voted "who cares" in the poll, and I never posted a score prediction or winner, because I would have just been picking to pick. I haven't seen either team play this year, nor do I know much about either. I don't make predictions just to do it. You should either add your name to this list or take mine off.
  13. Just because it was a big win, doesn't mean it wasn't expected. You can't honestly say it wasn't a big deal to the team. You can't honestly say that the victory this week didn't taste a little sweeter than previous weeks. I compliment them, and you try to start an argument.
  14. My jaw literally dropped when I saw the score for this game. WOW!!! I love defensive games, wish I could've watched it.
  15. I see. With two other backs that are more than capable of carrying the load why risk it. I sure was impressed by williams and clark this game. CH has good depth at the RB position.
  16. +1 I always say, "If you have to blame the officials for your loss, then you didn't deserve a win anyways." Excuses aren't what will cause a team to bounce back and learn from their mistakes. A team that makes excuses usually doesn't make the playoffs.
  17. It's the same way on the Arp vs. Frankston thread. You would have thought they were the niftiest thing since sliced bread yesterday, up until the game started. I'm sure it's tough to drag yourself out of bed on saturday morning after such a devastating defeat, but it is only right to give credit where credit is due. This week the credit goes to the dub town. Mineola - Is a good team, and can do great things in the playoffs. I am anxious to see how they bounce back from this in the weeks to come. Sometime a loss can be the best thing for a good team. It helps them evaluate and make changes, that otherwise would have been swept under the victory rug. Winnsboro - Needs to do two things with this victory. They need to realize that they can beat any team they line up against on Friday night. They also need to realize that if Mineola can be upset, so can they. A big win is sometimes what it takes to spark a team and fuel the fire enough to make a decent playoff run. Im also anxious to see how they follow through with this win in weeks to come.
  18. I think this is the best comeback of the year!! hahahahah!! Nothing of substance nor any valid points made. Just a lame attempt at an insult. Good oooonnnneeee!!!!!
  19. There has been an unexpected distribution of the workload due to the injuries and I think this will only help CH come playoff time.
  20. You name me one game where the refs have hung around and shook hands, signed autographs, and kissed babies. Why would they hang around? Refs always leave the field quickly. It's like referee code. I hope the Pitt football team doesn't have the same mentality as you, because if they do, they will learn nothing from this loss, therefore they will repeat this outcome regularly. If Pitt really was good enough and deserved to win, they would not have let it come down to a referee's "error" Your a sore loser and a cry baby.
  21. Sounds like mineola may not be all they have been cracked up to be. The challenge for winns is to continue this winning trend on over to next week and through the rest of the season and into the playoffs.
