  1. Haha. He is a big boy. Last week he had his belly hangin out the entire game. Made him look kinda nasty.
  2. An complete idiot. Granmaw Crappie pionts Hmmm...
  3. In all honesty it's easy to support a team that is winning like CH. True fans stick around through the good and the bad. It wasn't that long ago that CH was a less than average team that consistently found way not to make the playoffs. The support for CH has gone way up as far as attendance at the games, but it's easy to come watch them win. True fans support year in and year out, regardless of rankings and college prospects and championship implications. They stick around no matter what. CH is rolling right now and I love the support, but eventually CH will have a bad year and not do as well as they have been. The true fans show then.
  4. I like it doomer. Even though your team is facing a "giant" this week your still on here supporting them. Other fans should take notes.
  5. He may not want to fight to homecoming crowd.
  6. Me too man. Need to get that qb back in the mix, but it's no rush. Ch is blessed with many athletes right now. They don't have to rely on just one to carry the load. I wonder what the next big offensive scheme will look like. The spread is in now, which can be good and bad for a rb, but it seems like something new comes along about every ten years and most coaches buy into it.
  7. Most high school teams have not ventured away from the running back position. There are programs that emphasize the pass more, but even schools like ch, where they have three potential d1 receivers and an excellent qb (when not on crutches). They still utilize three kids at the rb position. I think the biggest change over the year has been, instead of running one kid on every carry, most teams distribute the load between a couple/three kids. This allows for fresh legs on the field, and since RB's are typically the most athletic kids in the team, they can get in on the defensive side easier, if they are not having to do it alone on offense.
  8. So that's why they havent won a game.
  9. Nobody is on here taking shots at the guys. This website is so fans can talk about sports. Coaching is a big part of that. This thread is not for taking shots at the oc's. Nobody is doing what you stated.
  10. There is some serious crow brewing in this thread. Saturday is going to be tough for somebody.
  11. Carthage has the swagger factor coming into the game. Kinda like an older brother vs. A younger brother. The older brother may nit be as good as he once was, and the younger brother may have gotten a little better, but going into the match up. All the older brother thinks about is how good it feels to pound on the younger brother, and all the younger brother thinks about is how bad those beat downs felt. Now if you have a little sister instead of brother, then I guess this whole analogy was a waste of time and doesn't mean much to you, so in that case just throw what I said out the window. I pick Carthage, not a "blowout" but not close either. Is there an in-between?
  12. He has really been put to the test with all the injuries, yet they are still winning.
  13. Idk about that. There best weapon is a qb. The dive would take him out of it. But I get your point. Good offense.
  14. I'm saying this out of friendliness, because I don't want you to get into trouble with an admin. You should probably edit your post and use a different word to describe just how good he really is. Lol. :)
  15. 75% of all statistics are made up on the spot just to make the conversator sound more intelligent in the subject being discussed.
  16. In my opinion he is a better all around player than his older brother, but when you want to talk about a good straight up running back... Son... Big tuck was a BEAST!!! If you had the privilege of watching him you know this.
  17. I'll be at the middle school games. I know a few young men on the 8th grade team, but I haven't been able to catch a game until this week.
  18. That's fine. I just hope we get to see a rematch come December. I know CH will do their part to get there. Hopefully Henderson will do the same.
  19. Van has players in the top 4 spots in the top sack list in the 3a - TAPPS section of the Tyler Paper. The four kids have 22 sacks combined!!
  20. It's actually not astro turf, but field turf.
  21. I wonder what it feels like for the different teams on CH's schedule to prepare for them the week leading up to the game. How many of the kids actually feel like they are going to win. I know a lot of ppl stay positive and talk about how they are going to do this and this and this and they have to hold CH from doing this and this and this, but deep down they are just hoping to have a close game with them at best.
  22. I don't think CH will be tasting any of that stuff any time this season. 15-0 isn't easy, but these kids are on track to do it.
