Most of you said we were done after IC. We shut their high powered offense down to a season low. I believe something has sparked over the last few weeks. Especially defensively.
ive heard the kids have 60+ plays on their wristbands. Let’s try the other 57 play calls and stop the elementary play calling. Turn the darn page!
I would love to see some new wrinkles

Basically, if you stop Brisbon and Stewart from getting loose on the outside. You have stop Chapel Hills offense. Kilgore offensively has multiple weapons that can go off any given night, so it's had to key on any one player like Chapel Hill.
Basically

I’d sat they dominated a very good IC team.
Ch will prob knock Kilgore out of SC dreams again . How’s the QB situation? Not that we would get a honest answer.
I would also call what CH did to IC a dominate performance. Defense didn’t give up a score in the second half.

Lindale beat Kilgore at SFA...I honestly could care less where they play and believe the only reason we didn't play at the Rose is because it was already booked
That’s correct. I also believe that it wasn’t in the 4th round.

They are reaching now for anything they can grab but not from what recently happened just crazy.
The “They” in your statement is referring to a poster that isn’t a CH fan.

Woulda, coulda, shoulda, but let’s not act like CH dominated in either of the past 2 playoff matchups…
Is anyone acting like that?

We are going to continue giving y'all nightmares this year watch and see better start getting those what "IF's" and "excuses" written down because we all know you won't admit y'all aren't the better football team this year
Maybe some folks are that way, but I think most of the fans have been pretty respectful towards Kilgore. I personally think it will take CH’s best game of the year to beat Kilgore. Kilgore is the undoubted favorite in this rematch.

We are just tired of playing Tyler Chapel Hill in Tyler time for a change is all time for a new scenery
I completely understand that logic.
I don’t get how dogg32 thinks CH fans fighting has anything to do with a game location.

I was on chapel Hill side. The fans was fighting each other. Started in side and went outside. I was watching the game with one of my buddies from CH.
So... You, a non-CH fan, were on the CH side… but everyone else on that side was unquestionably a CH fan…
Back to the original comment though, and assuming both parties were from CH. What does two people from CH fighting each other have to do with Kilgore and/or the location of the game?

After seeing how CH fans were fighting after the game and it carried over into the parking lot. I can understand why Kilgore doesn’t want to play in Tyler. It was a clown show and the parking and the traffic was terrible.
Pretty sure location won’t stop that type of activity.

Everyone comparing IC to Kilgore.?
Chapel Hill getting hot @ the right time!
CH is getting hot at the right time, but it would be ignorant to believe that Kilgore is not also getting hot.
I would not compare Kilgore to IC. IC is fast. Kilgore is fast and physical, MUCH more physical than IC.

This marks 3 of the last 4 years that this district has put two teams in the regional final. D4 has done it 2 of the last 4. D7 & D13 have each done it once.
D9 has had representation in the Semifinals all 4 of the last 4 years. Pending games this week. D4, D5, & D13 have the chance to do it 3 of the last 4 years.
In 4A Division I, this is the unquestionable DOD and as I said at the beginning of this year, that title cannot correctly be given before the season. It has to be earned by representing your district well in the playoffs. D9 has consistently done that over the last 4 years.

Chapel Hill put people on notice last night!!!
We were told we didn’t stand a chance at winning vs. IC. We all knew the game would be on our Defense and they carried the load while the offense smashed on the gas!!!
I’m in full support of CH as always, but this game will be by far their hardest of the season. Kilgore was good when they played in district and has only gotten better. CH has improved as well, but it’s going to take CH’s best game of the year to beat Kilgore. I do believe they can do it and I’m hoping they do it.

A lot of teams get them from a chapter that they don't use for playoff games....
You are correct, but in this situation both schools have good relations with the Tyler Chapter. The Tyler chapter is a really good chapter that puts out 2-3 SC crews every year. You aren’t getting an average crew. 4 rounds deep only the top crews of the chapter will be working. They might use East Texas Chapter, but all the local coaches know that the East Texas Chapter just doesn’t have the same quality as the Tyler Chapter.

It is a neutral site. Y'all have played at just as much as them. If Kilgore is better it shouldn't be no problem. The refs will not be from this area.
I bet they get a crew out of the Tyler chapter, since that’s the chapter that covers this district anyway.

Ok I was wrong about Chill didn’t think they could do it please please please beat Kilgore……. I don’t want my biggest disappointment of a Carthage and Kilgore championship. I am still recovering from 2013 appearance where I had to choose.
That’s won’t happen. Carthage is D2.

Both teams seem to be playing their best football right now. This will be an even harder game to win than the first time CH and Kil played. I say the winner of this game is the favorite for the SC this year.

Kind of weird to say, but Chapel Hill didn’t run all that well this game. A few gashes, but nothing too hefty. Just not IC’s day. CH offense played well, but nothing to write home about. Defense is the most surprising part of this team right now.
The game I watched, CH wasn’t going to be stopped. Moved the ball much easier than against Kilgore or Lindale. I guess this really is the District of Doom again this year.

If it’s of any consolation, DCTF calls IC “Alvin Iowa Colony” even though there is only one Iowa Colony. If TCH bothers you, maybe read it as “THE Chapel Hill” instead of “Tyler Chapel Hill”.
There is some irony in using acronyms instead of spelling the names, which would assume everyone understands the teams being discussed and then including the acronym for the related city at the beginning as if it were in question which chapel hill were being referenced.

It doesn’t bother me THAT much. It’s the same to me as when a fan calls the team “we” instead of “they”. Just because I point it out doesn’t mean I’m infuriated contrary to what Vonny believes.

We tried to play spread power ball with them! ..... SMH
Lindale had the athletes/size to close out that game. I don’t think the coaches showed enough trust in doing what they are good at. It seems to me they got worried about ICs speed and thought they would counter that with trying to spread their speed out across the field. You are correct in that IC can single up their coverage on a team like Lindale, so the numbers didn’t work out in the box.

REGIONAL FINAL: THE REMATCH....CHAPEL HILL vs. KILGORE @ Lobo Stadium Friday 7 PM

Kilgore is by far the most talented team CH has faced. Fast and physical.
