  1. Sneaky Cleats 18u - Batten will be holding another open practice this Sunday, May 10 in Tyler. We are still looking to add a couple more players to round out the roster.   2. Sneaky Cleats - Batten is looking to add a few quality softball players to its established roster. We are holding an open practice this Sunday, April 26. We are a team that has non-parent coaches, so no worries about daddyball. Our head coach is Brittany Batten, former star catcher at D3 powerhouse UT- Tyler. She will be assisted this summer by her sister, Kelsie Batten, All-American pitcher for UT-Tyler.   5. Sneaky Cleats - Richardson 16u has a couple of open roster spots. We will be holding an open practice coming up in the next few weeks and are looking for players with experience, dedication, and athleticism. We are looking for girls with 1996 or 1997 birth-years. We would also consider very strong 98's. If you are interested in joining our team, please go to www.SneakyCleats.com and fill out the short player application. You will then be contacted with tryout information. You can also contact team manager, Todd Tyler, at (903) 520-6201 if you have any questions. This team is coached by Roo Richardson Johnson. A two-time college All-American, Roo brings a lot of experience coaching at all levels, as well as playing both international and college ball. Roo is currently the record holder at UT-Tyler for career Slugging % and On-Base %. She also holds single season records for On-Base % and Runs Scored. Roo is currently the head softball coach at 1A Cushing. Roo coaches an aggressive style of play and believes in preparing her players to play at the highest level. Sneaky Cleats is a well known name in fastpitch softball, both locally and nationally. Our club is growing everyday and now consists of 10 teams, ranging from 10u to 18 Gold. This past winter we hosted our first hitting clinic, with Florida State Assistant Coach Craig Snider, and expect to have more coming up this year. Sneaky Cleats '97 is looking to fill our last roster spots for the upcoming spring season and will be having an open practice this Sunday, January 29. If you and your family have the dedication and the desire to play softball at the next level, come check us out. We are a competitive travel team and plan on competing at the highest level this spring and summer. Based in Tyler, but with girls from all over East Texas, Sneaky Cleats '97 is part of a growing, successful organization. We have a solid core of girls with a strong pitching staff in place. We just need a few more players to complete our roster. All positions are open and playing time has to be earned. No daddyball here! Our team is coached by two-time All-American Roo Richardson. In addition to Roo's success as a collegiate softball player, she has played professionally in Europe and has college coaching experience. Roo has no relatives on the team, just a love of the game and the desire to prepare players for college ball. She was also named "Newcomer of the Year" of the American Southwest Conference, where she broke the season RBI record with 63 and lead the conference in home runs with 14. Her senior year was perhaps her most successful collegiate year. During the 2009 season the UT Tyler Patriots went 39-10 with a ASC Championship, Regional Championship and place 5th at the College World Series. Richardson was named NFCA Pre-Season All-American, ASC Player of the Year, NFCA 2nd Team All-American, Easton 2nd Team All-American. She was also named to the 1st Team West Regional Tournament Team, 1st Team All West Team, 1st Team American Southwest Conference Tournament Team, and 1st Team All American Southwest Conference. That year she also lead her conference in walks with 39 and broke another ASC record with runs scored with 61. She played international ball in Switzerland for the Therwil Flyers and coached at Otero College in Colorado and is familiar with the recruiting process as a player and a coach.

Sneaky Cleats Softball Club is excited to announce a NEW '97 team, featuring Head Coach & two-time All-American Roo Richardson. This team is geared to play at the highest level and will be prepared for college recruiting process. The Sneaky Cleats Softball Club is based out of Tyler, TX and has multiple State and National Championship titles. Our '94 team is currently in the middle of the college recruiting season and anticipates approximately 7 players committed in the next few months. Our '95 team recently finished 9 out of 174 teams at ASA/USA Nationals where every player on the team has a college coach inquiries. We are looking to build off of this momentum and grow the Sneaky Cleats Organization. We currently have 6 teams and are looking to expand further. Try-Outs will be held at Faulkner Park on Sunday, August 28 at 2pm. This is a NEW team forming and we are looking for all positions. Pitchers and catchers will be asked to stay after initial try-outs.
