Got mine yesterday in Waco

The winner of the game tomorrow night will face the winner of the Mathis - Hitchcock game; Then on to Houston for the State Championship; I feel the game in Waco will be decided in the trenches as both teams have tremendous line play and the one who dominates the line of scrimmage and makes the fewest errors will win this game. If Teague plays as well as they did against Malakoff, Woodville and Rockdale I think they will come out victorious; GO LIONS !!!

I would like to see some of the Malakoff " Smoaky contributors come to Teague for the JV game Thursday; I think we will have a good game between two teams and see what each has coming up for the future.

Teague 56 Malakoff 24 Teague has offense to score anytime and from anywhere on the field; The defense has been playing at a high level and could come up with some turnovers; Can hardly wait for Friday night!

Well the state games are over, What about a guess on how the new district for your school might be? Here is my thinking on the Teague Lions district: Teague, Elkhart, Palestine Westwood, Grandview, Whitney, Red Oak Life, Eustace, Malakoff------ Would make for a strong, pretty evenly matched district, sending 4 to play-offs out of the 8 teams would create good completion.

Having just seen the Wall vs New Boston game yesterday at Midway, I am not that much impressed with Wall; I saw two White Oak games but the weather kept me home from the Cameron vs White Oak game but listened on the computer. I saw Cameron twice last year but haven't seen this year; I really think. Cameron will Blow-Away the Wall team. I will be at Jerry's place Thursday and Friday.

Having seen WO twice this year and seeing Cameron last year but not this year I think this will be ONE heck of a game; They seem to be a mirror image of each other with run, pass and defense. I think the game will go down to the wire with turn-overs probably deciding the outcome. It will be a very entertaing game for the fans and hope the weather and zebras don't decide the outcome.

Teague seems to be peaking at the right time as all good play-off teams do. They are using more of their weapons and not looking for just one receiver; M. Sheppard and R. West have really stepped up their game. The running game ( John Love ) has taken a tremendous amount of pressure off QB Skinner; Teague's defense has improved 100% in the last three games. GO LIONS
