I'm sure you are right about the TV contract. However, I'm pretty sure Reliant only holds 80,000. Don't think they will see any increase in ticket revenue, unless they decide to play all the games at Cowboys Staduim that year.

RG3, Luck & Blackmon all participated this year. I think Richardson is recovering from knee surgery. I don't think they did all the drills but they did get measured, run 40's, broad jump, vertical jump, etc. I think they did everything but throw! At their Pro Day they can throw to their own receivers that they have been throwing to for several years & they can script the routes.

Wow. I wonder why it was so much lower than the league was expecting. I don't think the ticket revenue is going to change unless they are adding seats somehow. Aggies have been filling that stadium for years, whether its tech and baylor or arkansas and auburn thats not going to change. They may be getting more from the TV revenue in the SEC.

IMO you are right. Lindale will be very competitive. JT & Cana should finish 1-2, but Lindale should expect to make one of the two remaining playoff spots.

Is the QB going to play anywhere in College? We scrimmaged you guys and he had a really good arm. He hit 2 or 3 receivers on stride that couldn't catch the ball. I was pretty impressed with him.

Where is Hicks from? Position? Size?

Actually Bam had a nice career at Tech. I think, if I remember right he won the Doak Walker Award as the best runningback in the Country. He had a couple of average seasons at Pittsburgh, but had 1 or 2 good seasons at Kansas City. He may have even made aPro Bowl ? Could have been a great one if not for the drugs. You're right about Simmons.

The topic is "Best runningback in East Texas History" Not best HIgh School Runningback. Without a doubt Earl is the best ever to come from the East Texas area. If the topic was best in HS, you make good points and would probably agree with you.

Don't know much about the EF coach, but thought he was solid. Is this not the same Coach that took EF to the state title game a few years back?

+1. Comparing Rodney Thomas to Earl is a joke. Sims & Peterson a little closer comparison. But without a doubt, Earl is the best not only in East Texas but the whole state of Texas.

Should be a good game. We had 5 or 6 Sophmores starting last year. I think ya'll had a bunch of young one starting as well. The RB ya'll had (I think #5) was a beast. Is he graduating or coming back?

I don't think Harmony are any kind of world beaters. They had a decent team last year and have a lot of starters returning. Do you think Winnsboro is some kind of world beaters? I think both teams are similiar, but I could be wrong. It wouldn't be the first time. I just can't figure out why Quitman,Winnsboro & Harmony are not in the same district. Not more than 20 miles apart

Watched Winnsboro play last year the week Harmony had their bye. Unless Winnsboro starts throwing the ball more, I don't think they will have much succcess running the ball. Harmony returns 8 starters on Defense. The Defense held 6 opponents under 14 points last year. They struggled some against dual-threat teams, but against run only teams (Jefferson, Marlin, EF,Tatum, etc.) the defense did very well. Obviously , If Tatum had Overstreet playing they would have had that dual threat that Harmony had problems with. Their backup didn't have much of an arm, so they weren't much of a threat to throw. Winnsboro has similiar players to Harmony. It should be a great game, but I think at home Harmony comes out on top. Not predicting any kind of blow out, but I think the Eagles will win.

Your wrong RC. TAPPS has 4 divisions. Div. 1 is the largest schools. Div. 4 is the smallest schools.

They will not beat Harmony. They will probably win this weak district.

Your right. Tatum's & White Oak's will be very tough to replace. Both had excellent QB's that were a big part of the offense. Jefferson & Harmony not so much. Not sure about Troup's offense and how much the QB is used.
