Just curious Lhornfan why you think it’s a good hire. Is it based off him being a good DC? Or is it based off what he did at Duke? With the unlimited resources the Ags have and able to money whip just about any other Program in the Country. No Coach in the Country can make $17 million for winning the Natty right? I would think A&M could have attracted the best of the best!

You realize your guy is a career assistant that has never been a Head Coach at any level before 2 years ago. Not HC in high school, JUCO ball, D2, FCS. Nothing. I’m guessing he wasn’t a Top 5 candidate for what the Aggies were hoping for. If so, they could have locked him up 2 weeks ago. If the expectations were higher they would have hired someone with more than 2 years of experience. Good luck on your hire, but this seems like a desperation move after all the other top candidates turned the job down. At least Stoops had a couple of 10 win seasons in the SEC! Something the Aggies have done once in their 12 years in the SEC.

1st you said they rotated, now 4-5 series? You obviously weren’t at the Game, don’t know what you’re talking about and have tried to blame the game on the Sunnyvale Coaches, which is BS and laughable. Sunnyvale staff had an excellent game plan and kudos to them for almost pulling off a heck of an upset. The only time 16 came in the game the 2nd half was when Peterson limped off the field hurt.
