Never seen tradition get a first down, just like I've never seen a coach make a tackle. It comes down to the players making plays.

The problem with that line of thought is there are always more "old heads" that will out number the few people that move into little east Texas towns. So, tradition or the good ol days will live on strong....IMO

Just curious to see if there are any programs that did not contribute any money to the UIL. Also, if there are schools that just have struggles in all sports.

I can tell you the leopards will be doing what they have done forever. Run run and more run which is okay when Reed, Carson or James are toting the mail but they are GONE!!! The leopards will throw the deep ball on third and a mile. Hall will be out there stalk blocking his rear off while Baylor and Art Briles licking their chops waiting for him to get to Waco and catch 500 balls at the D1 level.

So how did that work out for the team this year? Let the playmakers get more opportunities to make plays. Not bashing any coach, I just hope there is a slight change in philosophy.
