  1. Football and basketball? Those 2 wouldn't be their best sport, especially not basketball. They would dominate baseball if PG got thrown in the mix.
  2. Does this Carthage team have the talent Carthage was rolling with back in the 03-06 range? They had a couple draft picks and guys still left playing in the minors.
  3. Mumford. Too much size from what I hear. Mumford. Too much size from what I hear.
  4. Correct sir, and she may turn into one of the best girls to come through, ever...
  5. I've noticed that the average line drive single doesn't have the giddy up when it hits the ground in the OF. Ground #### on the INF don't come off the bat as hot as they used to. #### that are squared up by good hitters are still traveling as far as the hitter is good...
  6. Kerens size may play a factor. The MM guard will score however many she wants, but the rest if the team will be evenly matched. Kerens has 2 big girls inside and one is really athletic. They will have to play an error free game to have a chance at taking down the mill, and I'd they do, they should repeat as state champs next year b/c the winner of this game takes the cake. Kerens is starting 5 sophs
  7. Has Anderson been guarded by anyone close to his size this year? I think a good size kid that is strong will give him trouble.
  8. Yeah, homerun hitters boy I tell ya! Pure hitters those 2
  9. Really? Any D1s looking at him? I know they're usually on them their summer after their sophomore campaign and during their junior season. I think D1 may be a bit of a reach.
  10. What division will he most likely play in and what position?
  11. Yuga will win it next year, but the team graduates after next year.
  12. I wouldn't say no pop. When a good swings squares one up, it's a noticeable difference in distance travelled than wood. Ground #### from BBCOR are more similar to wood bat ground #### in the speed aspect, IMO.
  13. If you don't get any e-mails, there are good books with the info on the test on amazon.
  14. Staying metal saves money. If kids were to swing wood only, a lot of parents and schools would go broke. Wood bats split, break, chip, handles get chipped, etc... A lot can happen to a woody, haha. Now if they swung composite wood, it would be a different story and that would be awesome.
  15. A lot of guys don't tighten their chin straps with the revos also. One of the problems I saw with the revos...
  16. A lot of our guys liked the Rawlings and we had no head injuries, of course we didn't hit anyone either, haha. But if you're on a tight budget, Rawlings is a good deal.
  17. I don't understand how parents/coaches had anything to do with the UCL tear and the eventual TJ surgery? I was under the impression that having TJ surgery is more or less bad luck and given the necessary re-hab tools, the extensive re-hab often has your arm stronger than it ever was. Best of luck to your boy, I've witnessed a couple friends of my own go through it.
  18. RipIt is a no name company. They're not Louisville slugger, Easton, Rawlings, or even marucci.
  19. I heard the RipIt was a good one as well, I'm concerned about a no name company putting a durable product out though.
  20. Easy there big guy. I'm sure if I were talking to you in person, the error conversation would be a bit different. You took my words to a whole other literal level. I understand the ruling, but common effort is a given in a normal baseball conversation. If I'm not mistaken, 2 of the 3 kids that have received or are going to receive the scholarships are not from Cayuga. It's my understanding those 2 transferred in to become part of the college level baesball factory they have over there in Cayuga. Also, if you don't mind my nosiness, what injury did your son sustain?
