Guys, Andrus is 25 and is an above average SS, not above average defender, but a SS! Those are hard to come by. You tend to do what it takes and pay the guy what he wants to ensure he stays around. I hope when Chirino's contract comes around, they pay him too. He's the closest thing in the game to Pudge besides Yadier Molina and he's out right now...

I'm not a JD fan, but he can't help the fact that so many guys went down due to injury. If Rangers were equipped with who they thought would be in the rotation and a healthy Prince, who knows where they would be right now. Hard to protect Beltre without Prince.

I think they lost 3 o line, the Smaller RB, and a WR/DB that will be missed and the MLB. It'll be hard to replace the RB and the DT, but I'm guessing they have some qualified applicants coming from the 9-0 JV with only 2 TDs scored on them all year.

And the "starting RB" and the other big kid #45 I think, are coming back along with the smaller quicker RB? Don't sleep on Eustace. A beat up Eustace team gave Dfield all they wanted till they threw a pick 6 on the 3 yd line with :05 left in the 1st half. Can't have an "ok" defense and expect to blow them out.

I watched MP play Waxahachie in Mesquite. I think Waxahachie was a down a bit, but they always field a solid club and the big MP righty shut them down, as he should, and MP 3B I believe hit a solo bomb to win the game 1-0. I don't know what else the coach can do there? Impressive win, this was the Waxahachie team that pistol whipped the almighty Lindale team

Rockdale lost some good ones, they won't be last years Rockdale unless some young guys step up in some big positions. I'm sure you know how that goes. Any way, Yoe beat them last year so if one of you two make it to Jerry's world, somebody took down Yoe along the way, not Rockdale.
