Abuse from fans = physically threatening me during or after a game. Or, shouting obscenities form the stands so loud that I hear them. I actually hear very little that comes out of the stands, so if it's loud enough to get my attention it's abuse. Abuse from coaches = Any obscene language directed AT me. If you want to do that become a GA at some small college. Continuing to complain about a call from the 1st quarter even though it is now the 4th. Accusing me of cheating or in someway insulting my ethics and integrity. I know some think they have a right to complain because a ref missed a call, or an official didn't call a late hit, face mask, holding or horse collar against the opposing team. Many of these calls, not all, are "missed" by a young official that are being forced into a game they are not ready for. The numbers now are such that if you are breathing and have a striped shirt you can call a varsity game. Greater numbers would allow for inferior or inexperienced officials to not be assigned to Friday night games.

WFAA has been running a clip regarding the diversity and shortage of officials. At the end, they mention you can make $500 to $600 for a regular season game. According to the latest TASO paysheet, the attendance would have to be 65,000 to hit $500. By the way it's a good clip, just unrealistic information

What happened to the guy Thursday night? Heard he was present and then left without being hired.... Probably hiring from within is the best option this late

There is at least one currently on staff that would be a good fit as HFC; not sure he has the experience to handle the AD. No time like the presence to get that experience.

No Jimmy's and Joe's on the ballot; I certainly agree with you that is a need. However if someone could get the Jimmy's and Joe's they have to buy in to football they might at least be respectable. No deep playoff run in the future

Really nice indoor workout facility/ locker rooms/ coaching offices on the ballot for May 7 Should probably pass as they have a new solar farm that will pay for it.

Are you on staff in Clarksville? I had heard that discipline on campus was pretty good. Maybe that applies to everyone except the "better" athletes. Just disappointed to here that. I know there is a lack of discipline at times on the field, I have seen that from the stands. I am just never on campus during the day.

Current staff is all under contract for next year. Hope whoever it is has the option to change out some pieces if he wants. There are at least a couple that would be an asset to the new guy.

I think they will go outside if possible. Even though Clarksville has lots of raw talent year after year. Harnessing that and getting on the field is not always that easy. Probably won't get any attention from anyone who is currently a HC anywhere. This would be a good spot for a young guy to do some winning quick; or, could be a good spot for a young guy to flame out. There is one former player who is currently on staff that probably couldn't handle the AD spot; but, could get the max out of the kids on the field

Why even add the comment about Clarksville? Unless you are butt hurt that Clarksville has put Big Sandy out several times lately. I am proud to see Big Sandy get to regional and yes I do think they would have beat Clarksville last night if needed. Everything topher85 says above is spot on; Muenster will attempt to force you into their game, if so look out. Muenster can't dominate the region forever; I think Big Sandy wins a close one
