Cana couldn't sustain drives. Penalties killed drives and JT didn't give up any big plays that we are used to getting. Guess we really need to work on our "cheating"!! Lol.

R u friggin kidding me!! That's a way over the top accusation.....U already got a free touchdown, the refs are from Tyler and we're the ones "clearly" cheating! I doubt anyone from Cana cares about ur respect!

We've had just as many calls go against us.....and the refs are from the Tyler "chapter"!

I know some of the band and dance team parents might not like this......but I like the shortened halftime! Ready to start the second half already! Back to the football!

When the refs are from the Tyler "chapter".....are they from Tyler area only or does that "chapter" cover the majority of ETX?

Whatever happens the rest of the game.....that was a horrible call to "give" JT that TD!! That ball literally dropped all the way to ground and then bounced back up halfway up his body. Keep fighting Cana!! We're playing good, but can't afford any more mistakes or penalties in the 2nd Half!

I believe Lindale will take it, but we Corsicana fans would really appreciate it if NAC puts a full game together and gives Lindale another district loss! Thanks in Advance! LOL

I have to go with my Team and pick Corsicana over JT. Hopefully the rain slows down JT's passing game some and we can get a break or two (fumbles may be an issue with the rain too!). We have to get an upset somewhere in the next 3 games to make the playoffs......this might be the best chance......packed home game in bad weather. Kinda the opposite of what you would expect from a HS team........hardly any underneath or short high completion type passes, most of the passes have been the big play variety (with a lower completion percentage of course). They have had some success with it though.....several long TD completions so far this year. QB has a good arm and his accuracy has improved a lot from last year, so I believe they could use the pass more if they choose......they just have been very selective so far and haven't been forced into many obvious passing situations.

I feel like Corsicana is playing better than the past few years, but I don't know what to expect from Lindale at all right now. I think this is a good first district game matchup and will tell us a lot more about who will make it from the district. Its already been said, but I too believe the winner of this game would at least get the 4th spot. Losing this game will make it very hard since taking one of the top 3 slots from JT, Lufkin, or Ennis would be difficult. Hate to think we are in a must win game already, but it kinda has that feel to it! With the game being in Corsicana (and being Homecoming), I have to believe Corsicana wins this one. If Lindale doesn't have a good run defense, it could be a long night.......Cana has been running the ball really well so far this year.

Jacksonville over Ennis by 17 points! Wow! Definitely going against the grain with that one! That's the one game this Friday I think is automatic.

I'm not sure how you can take my comment about us being improved from last year as "being on top of the world"! NO.....we are definitely not "on top of the world" right now. In Corsicana, being on top of the world would mean we are in the mix for a state championship and no one is saying that right now........but please don't think for a second that Corsicana's pedigree is not just as good or better than any team in this district (by any measure you care to come up.....state championships, district titles, overall wins, etc, etc.....hell even number of players in the NFL!). So please don't categorize Corsicana as some below average program that needs to be over excited because we are 3-0.....anyone who knows Texas HS football knows that is not the case in Corsicana. Even great programs have rebuilding periods, and I can easily find many recent "off" years for even the best teams in district. I do believe with the athletes Corsicana has that we will be right back in the mix real soon though. Until then, let's all just sit back and enjoy a mediocre season cause short of maybe Ennis, I don't see anyone from our district really going far in the playoffs...let alone winning a title! I hope I'm wrong, but it really looks to me like we're all just fighting for respect and bragging rights this year! LOL
