I think Coach Strong is a good coach. He just in the wrong region with Cvlle. Hate to admit it but next years team will be even better. We got 3 sophomores on the bench that can go. They just waiting their turn. Lbvs!

Yes but many of the players on this team didn’t get to play a lot last year. We are a much more physical team this year.

The strength can be contributed to these guys playing football. 3/4th of the team played!

This group is a different bunch. Very scrappy. Should be a good game. Praying we can snap the streak. Lbvs!

Cvlle hit 13 3’s last night. 9 in the second half. That’s got to be a school record!

Never count my Tigers out! What most people don’t realize, this is the most balanced team Cvlle has had in years. 3 players in double figures and the other 2 scored 8&9 pts. And when those 3’s start falling, it’s over!!!!!! Gonna be interesting against Muenster Friday!

Driving home last night, I had many thoughts run through my mind as I analyzed the game. I came up with 2 facts. 1). Munster is a really good welled coached team. We could play them 10 times and they would beat us 9 out of the 10 times. They're bigger, handle the ball better and know the game better. Example, the Cook kid dove on the ground for a loose ball. The average kid would have tried to get up or rolled to pass the ball; but not this player. He had enough knowledge of the game to instantly call a timeout without. This comes from knowing the game. 2.) Cvlle has to take advantage of precious opportunities when the game is on the line. Playing a team as good as Munster, you can't miss free throws (6-20) or have unnecessary turnovers (too many to count). As hard as it is for me to admit this, the better team won last night! Congrats Munster!!!

Friday will be epic! I'm calling for an upset! This is our year!

The game was a forfeit. I don't see why the Rebels wouldn't have pieced together a team with their JV player instead of giving away a victory?

What was impressive was the Lady Tigers 65-56 victory over district favorite McLeod. If you would've told me this after seeing them play their 1st game of the season, I would've called you crazy. But hats off to Coach Manginell on the job he's doing with the ladies.

I'll be happy with a 1 pt win.

Is this the same Big Sandy team Cvlle played earlier this year in a tournament.

On another note: Congrats to the Lady Tigers on their 56-46 Bi district win tonight. Not bad for 3 Srs, 1 Jr, 1 Soph & 6 Fr!
