Genesis 12:3: I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse those who dishonor you. In you, all the families of the earth are blessed.

The Bible says as the nations wage war against Israel Jesus will come and destroy His enemies with the breath of His mouth. 2 Thess 2:8

We are commanded to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

    It's not political, it's biblical.

So they definitely don't need US taxpayer dollars.....they already have God and Jesus on their side.

  2. CHISD is approximately 50% Hispanic. Only yielded a starting kicker, an OL, and a few backups. Jacksonville HS has the enrollment of a 5A school but the football talent of a small 4A at best. There's probably a reason south Texas schools never compete for any state football championships.

Anna’s O-line is impressive. They make the RB look much better than he is.  Their passing game will be the best CH has seen.  They will make you pay if you make a mistake in coverage.  Very disciplined decision making by the QB.

CH will have to score points.  Turnovers and drive killing penalties will be crucial in this game.

Gotta have better safety play against Anna......can't let guys get behind our defense and give up big passing plays.

On defense Davenport relies on their mlb to do be their bread winner. He has 137 tackles on the year and the next closest player has 57 less than that. He also leads the team in sacks, tied for the lead in fumble recoveries and forced fumbles, and even when he isn’t in on the play, he’s causing problems.  He’s good, but he’s one man.  CH has to figure out ways to take him out of the play or give him extra attention in the blocking schemes.

I think continuing to implement the 2 RB backfield with misdirection and a lead blocker should do the trick.

I would disagree on Kilgore choking.  Those boys played hard football. Defense gave up some early scores, but they held strong in the end.  This is a game of inches and a game where mistakes kill. Kilgore had a few more mistakes than CH, but mistakes are part of the game.  2 points is a true picture of how competitive this game really was.

If CH is able to win this week and ultimately achieve a SC victory, it’ll be a huge credit to having to strap up against competition like Kilgore.  Part of the reason this region and this district is so consistent year after year is because there is teams like Kilgore that demand your best performance.  If you want to be the best, you have to beat the best and IMO CH beat the best team in the state last night.  Now focus and win the next one!

I'm not even sure Kilgore made more mistakes than CH. Does anyone know the final penalty totals? Seems like CH had more. I know CH had 1 more turnover than Kilgore. Dropped a touchdown in the first half. Another long touchdown called back in the second half. If CH could play a 100% clean game......imagine the possibilities?!

The loses C-Hill suffered during the season was the best thing for them. It humbled them and showed them they were not invisible. They went to work and now they are back in the semifinals.

Quick question. Has anyone seen the Lindale fans? I haven't heard a peek out of them since C-Hill got hot again.

Probably in line buying tickets for the Wagstaff Classic
