Palestine has done a great job. 5 years ago this team lacked fundamentals and the desire to win. Not anymore. Setting at the top of the district beat A great Bullard team. Not saying they are winning state but staff is great.

Jacksonvilles main problem imo has nothing to do with demographics. Yes the lack of participation from the Hispanic population hurts. For the past 4 years the 7 and 8 grade teams have been undefeated. Win track meets regularly in middle school. So it's safe to say we have athletes. What is lacking is working hard in the weight room. Keeping players engaged in the program. Putting people in the right position for the team to win. Community support with the coaches.

How does a committee every make the assumption a kid is not moving for athletic reasons?

Drove up just to see Timpson win. Congratulations. Talked to several Bears at Texas live. Timpson has tons of athletes on this team . Terry is awesome for sure the rest of the whole team played awesome as well.

Garrison is one great team. IMO they could have won that game last night. I would have never stopped running the ball up the middle. Timpson is phenomenal with a ton of talent and speed. I never saw garrison not get positive yards in the A gap. Good Luck to Timpson great year Garrison

After watching yall Thursday. Going to take a very well disciplined mistake free team to beat you. One of the Biggest 2a team I believe I ever seen. Looked like very good kids also.

Yall better bring your A game. Garrison is bigger and stronger than 90٪ of the teams I've watch. We are in district with kilgore chapel hill and lindale. That being said Terry Bussey is the hands down best player in this area. #3 garner I think pretty darn salty.
