  1. I understand your point. I'm just pointing out that Baylor went against a better offense than they had been facing and gave up a heckuva lot more points.
  2. What balance for the Cowboys. 35 passes, 14 rushes. Sheesh.
  3. Peyton is in a class by himself right now. He's up to 20 TDs without an INT. That's Madden-esque, right there!
  4. JJ, I think that you have to balance your WHOLE schedule. I use the other Tigers (Tenaha) and Carthage as examples. They will coast thru district play without breaking a sweat. No competition whatsoever for either team in district, so you have to plan accordingly and get some challenges in non-district play. That being said, I think Tenaha's non-district slate was harder, but both teams got some games in that will help their clubs down the road. I know I sort of rambled there, but I'm saying that if you know your conference schedule is light, make your non-conference part a little heavier to balance. And vice versa.
  5. Lor-Bay stopped playing the FCS schools and found out that their defense isn't 'elite' status. LOL @ when they go up against a real team like Blow U.
  6. Oh, Mavgrad. You seem to forget that Texas leads the nation in rushing yards allowed to a quarterback. Belldozer works the read-option silly in this one. Texas scores once, Blow U scores many, many times. Blow U 119, Texas 3
  7. And they didn't have subs in when they played Wofford? Gimme a break.
  8. Monte Kiffin is probably gone after this season too. Funny how they bring in a new coordinator and the same personnel can't tackle. Hmmmm. Maybe because it's the fact that the players ####? Just like the Horns. New DC, same poor tackling.
  9. Schaub throws for 143 and 3 INTs, keeping that pick-six streak intact, too.
  10. NEWS FLASH! I haven't been a true Cowboys fan since, oh about 2000. That doesn't mean I don't watch them, but it's kind of like when you're driving on the highway and you see a car crash. You know you shouldn't look but just can't help but rubberneckin'. That's how I am with the Cowboys, I know that they're going to crash and burn each season, but it's how they do it that makes me want to watch. BTW, Peyton just turned that 14-0 deficit into a Broncos lead. Smh. Same ol' Cowboys.
  11. Does the scoreboard at the Cotton Bowl have the capability of putting up triple digits? Because Blow U will probably put up 150 on the Texas D.
  12. The Yankees and if they're not in it, there's no actual winner. Only a figment of your imagination. Basically I'm saying WhoTF cares.
  13. WVU is more legit than fracking Wofford, for Pete's sake...or Pete's saki for that matter. Guess that Baylor D has some questions to answer, giving up 35 points.
  14. He rolled his ankle pretty badly. He wanted to walk off the field on his own, though.
  15. flip WH and Nac and I think you hit it on the head. I can't see Nac pulling off that upset.
  16. The Roughriders. For her pleasure. LOL
  17. A Baylor thread? These things exist? LOL Seriously, the Bears now have a "legit" opponent to add to their resume. People can actually start saying that the Bears are a force to be reckoned with.
  18. I don't think Jasper will even stay close this year. Carthage's margin of victory in district averages 50-plus.
  19. Because I want to see the Cowboys FAIL, again and again and again and....you get the point. Dallas hasn't been relevant since Switzer. Peyton dices up the Cowboys secondary like a food processor chops up vegetables.
  20. He did have the first one, Greezy, but what should've been called was forward progress stopped, not down by contact. There's not a chance in hell that Gray was still moving forward when he got hit at the one yard line. All the officials should've blown their whistles and stopped the play a full three seconds before George grabbed the ball. On the second fumble, Gray was laying on top of the ball when the play was blown dead. Sorry. Try again.
  21. There was talk of the crew and the infamous goal line call. Mike Defee's crew is one of the top rated crews in CFO West. They wouldn't have been in the game otherwise. That being said, I think the Line Judge ("little" Walt Coleman) made his mistake by not calling the obvious that Gray was stopped cold and his forward progress was impeded. He should have blown the whistle alot sooner, yes, but if he says the obvious (which I challenge anyone to dispute that Gray was still moving forward when the ball was stripped) then the play is over, no harm no foul and it's not even reviewed. Playing 2 (2nd down) and let's wind the clock.
  22. Singleton won't come up yet. Please, God, no! The bats at first base are bad enough already. I don't want to see a kid who only hit .215 at AAA try to come up to the next level yet. He needs to hit better before giving him a spot. There's enough hitters already toiling around the Mendoza line.
  23. That is a flagrant personal foul and it is an auto ejection.
