JJ, I think that you have to balance your WHOLE schedule. I use the other Tigers (Tenaha) and Carthage as examples. They will coast thru district play without breaking a sweat. No competition whatsoever for either team in district, so you have to plan accordingly and get some challenges in non-district play. That being said, I think Tenaha's non-district slate was harder, but both teams got some games in that will help their clubs down the road. I know I sort of rambled there, but I'm saying that if you know your conference schedule is light, make your non-conference part a little heavier to balance. And vice versa.

He should have blown the whistle alot sooner, yes, but if he says the obvious (which I challenge anyone to dispute that Gray was still moving forward when the ball was stripped) then the play is over, no harm no foul and it's not even reviewed.
