Coach Moore played for Hawkins he was the QB back in the 80's with Stanely Richards. I believe he will do great things, Congrats welcome home "Once a Hawk always a Hawk" The place isn't dying it's just beginning to climb back up.

If Coach Moore came home, he would be one dang good football coach for the hawks, hopefully he will be able to come home and coach the hawks. I think he will help all the kids do well in school and out of school. maybe just maybe the hawks will finally win a playoff game.

Like who? when Coach Lowrance retired it was a dream job, the 70's and 80's and 90's were good years..I'm never suprised alot of people want to get Hawkins up therepast the 1st round and make playoffs every year. any names pop up?

When Cook first came to hawkins late 2005, he did say we would win state championships......it never happened, his offseasons were tough but also it really worked, yes multiple sport kids do have a disadvantage when lifting weights or doing a sport or two, but its their choice. coach cook was given amount of given time to build a program. yes 6-7 years with only 3 playoff bearths and all were 1st round knockouts it was time to move on, Cook will find another school and do better, yes Coach Craft has been tere for 32 years and is the baseball coach, he doesnt want the AD job, Coach Boyd wont take the job, They may give it to someone young or someone with a little experience. when Coach Cook came in he never was a Head Football/AD before.

I dont mean to sound rude, but when I was in school we had a couple of kids come out to play football but quit during two a days, or if someones kid wasn't starting or playing the parents would comeout and start causing trouble, but now days it's lazy, kids dont want to play football or sometimes any sports. but hey i would kill to go back to hs and play one more time. Mr Smoak, playoffs was in 06 not in 05. I played for Coach Cook, great man, I give him alot of success and I know coach phillips great man as well. I do hope they find someone good like every coach they had before. all players from 05-2012 played great, and gave their 100% to him.
