The Dawg D line and linebackers are better and will show why they are best D line in all of 4A.

Give me the Dawgs O line and D line and linebackers for 10 point win.

I can’t see PG as the favorite with two tackles that weigh less than our linebackers going against our D line. They have many going both ways including their QB. No doubt it will be a hard fought game and the Dawgs cannot have turnovers or 15 yard penalties. I will say slight edge because of the Dawg D line and linebackers.

Great game Dawgs on both sides of the ball. The defense was as dominating as you could possibly imagine. One pick 6, and two more they were dropped. The D line and linebackers lived in the backfield. Secondary cover the receivers well and had came up with two INT’S. Van Alstyne gave a great effort and never quit. Congratulations to them on a good season. The Dawg offense was was just as dominant, KJ Edwards is worth the price of a ticket to go watch, Jett Surratt was throwing the ball on the money and the receivers caught everything. O line gave Surratt all night to pass and holes big enough to drive a truck through. BUT I don’t know if the refs were flag happy or they felt sorry for VA or the Dawgs were guilty of all those penalties. If the Dawgs were guilty they have to clean those penalties up. They cannot do that against PG. Those penalties cost them two maybe three touchdowns in the first half. I believe coach Surratt, Preston, and staff will have the Dawgs well prepared for PG and hitting on all cylinders next Friday. PG is as good as advertised and will be as good as Kilgore. Let’s Go Dawgs and hopefully God Bless Coaches, Players, and Fans.

I don’t remember what time we played Liberty Hill in 2018.

The only time I remember Longview throwing a lot of passes was when Haynes King was the QB. He through a lot of deep balls not just short slants.

The only way Coach Surratt would play at 2:00 is if he lost a flip. I can’t ever remember him ever playing a day game besides the state championship.

I watched the game last night on NFHS. I thought it was a great ball game. Sunnyvale had a great game plan for Gilmer. Gilmer made enough plays to win. I thought Sunnyvale was a solid well coached team. Gilmer speed on offense was the difference. Congrats to Gilmer and Sunnyvale. Both teams gave 100 percent effort.

I find that odd that Surratt would agree to a 2:00 game.

John Settles is the Sunnyvale coach. He played ball at Hallsville. He is a dang good coach.

I watched the game last night and LE moved to ball on PG.

Just a reminder, LE played them to within one touchdown. LE had 33 yards total against the Dawgs. They play a lot of players both ways. Their QB is going to be making a lot of tackles.

QB has a good arm and runs the ball out of the shotgun, he rolls out a lot to pass, but small O line and D line. The Dawg D line will be in the backfield all night. Defense is small and will have a very hard time with the Dawg running game. Dawg receivers will run by the secondary.

NFHS was terrible last week on the Carthage game, I can’t tell you how many times they dropped the feed. Heck when it finally came back on they were 8 minutes behind. Smoaky posters were giving updated and fives minutes later you got to watch it. You should not have to pay for that.

The way LE played PG to within one score. I have a feeling they will be playing deep into the playoffs in 3A.

That’s because we have a great respect for the Aledo program. Heck I hope Longview can get to play y’all this year. That is two of the best programs in the state.

I just watched on line Van Alstyne versus Aubrey. It is not going to be a good game for Van Alstyne. They are about the same level as Rusk. I am afraid this will get ugly pretty quick.
