I agree with you 100 %. This guy is just one of the haters, we should be use to it by now. They will be really mad when the 2019 DAWGS go for number 7.

I drove by the stadium on Monday and they were, it look to me they were laying the new turf. The stadium may be the coolest in East Texas with old and new style combined.

The Dawg D will be on a mission in 2019. Last year they had good and not so good games. This year 8 starters return which will be bigger, stronger, and veterans of 15 games. Running back, two O linemen, two wide receivers started, lineman 75 started several games, sophomore running back played in a lot of games. I consider that as starters returning. That would be 7 on offense with a lot of varsity playing time.

LeVega lost 7 of there best defensive players, but you are right they will still be very good. We will just have to wait and see.

Carthage should be number 1 to start the season. 14 starters (15 if you count # 74) coming back. All 4 D linemen, 2 linebackers, safety, and corner back. Two O linemen (3 with #74) Two wide receivers, two running backs. If the dual threat QB turns out to be what they are saying he will be, Carthage will be the favorite.

The coach that was at Gladewater, I think he was there for a long time.

No way he retires after his son graduates, he is a great coach and he will retire when he knows it is time. Now if he goes back to back, he might consider it. Nearly 50 thousand fans in the stands playing in front of 200 hundred thousand TV viewers could happen again in 2019, now that would be a great way to retire. The UIL is all about money, with as much money that they lost by having the championship games in Houston. It will never go back and thank goodness. Jerrys house is the best venue by a long ways.

LaVega looses the 7 best defensive players they had, but do return many on offense. Argyle was a senior laden team on both sides of the ball, but they are Argyle and will be in the hunt as usual.

I agree with you 100 percent. Except that someone made 2.8 million on the tickets alone. There is no telling how much was made in concessions. I know I spent at least 40 dollars at the concession. Somebody made money. I would pay 100 dollars to my Dawgs play at Jerry’s House if I had to. No other venue like it anywhere in the country. I hope they never go back to Houston.

I hope they never change it. AT&T is the perfect venue. Houston, Austin, and San Antonio are all night mares to drive in. You can get to AT&T from many directions to dodge the traffic.

No one was beating LV in the state championship, that defense was bad to the bone. LV Dawgs & Argyle LH & Paris in my opinion these were the five best teams in that order.

They are pound for pound the best high school football team in Texas. The O line looked like a college team. All over six foot and 300 pounds. Dang!

I agree with you about LH running wild on the Dawgs but you catch three touchdown passes, the Dawgs are head by 14 in the first half. Dawgs win by 10. There is no way LH should have beat the Dawgs.
