I would have to say that losing the QB has to be of some concern for the Mustangs. The question will be can they overcome this obstacle against Waskom. With Waskom being a pretty good team, does HS have the athletes to step up and make the plays with a key player missing?

Obviously you don't either. Don't have any need to put together a schedule for any 2014 baseball games. As stated earlier, I am not a coach. Just an ole spectator that was curious about the HS QB position. You must obviously be very concerned about whoever is the Pittsburg baseball coach.

Seems every conversation involving Hughes Springs turns to someone, most likely a HS coach, patting the coaching staff on the back. I guess we now need to start handing coaches out participation trophies. As far as the consistency, the schedule is consistently one of the weakest in the state. You would think the biggest 2A school in division II in the state would schedule a couple of games that would test the team early in the season to prepare them for the teams they see in the playoffs.

Is the kid they had on JV last year going to be the QB now? If I remember right he was a pretty good athlete. Threw the ball well and could run a little.

I heard he had an arm injury and was out the rest of the year.

How is Hughes Springs going to be without their best player? Is there anyone that will be able to step up and fill in at the QB position?

What's over/under on screen names coming out of the fieldhouse and admin building in HS?

Didn't know questioning someone's coaching tactics would lead to you say I was trashing someone's character. I never questioned his character as a person and never will. Sorry if I offended anyone with my observation's. We all make mistakes and those things happpen. Once again sorry for the confusion but I was not trashing anyone's character.
