Gladewater played great. No reason to hang their heads at all

I'll be pulling for Gladewater representing the district. I think Gilmer will win. Bears struggle against the pass a little; and as highly touted as their DLine is, put little pressure on the QB. If I were Gilmer I'd worry more about the Bears running game. The Bears also don't seem to give up. Good luck Gladewater.

SH played both. It would not shock me at all if Athen wins this game

Well I'm not going to bash our coach because I really think he has SH headed in the right direction. There seems to be more fight in the players (no pun intended). That being said I can only guess that he looks around and sees 26 players total. To answer your question, no the player is not that good at all. Usually gets blocked into the LB's. Most of his fouls come after getting pancaked 10 yards into the defensive backfield. I assume coach sees something in him.

Nah Gilmer showed class tonight. Could have been worse. Not that SH would have won but the loss would have been easier to take without the turnovers and dumb penalties. Thank you refs for kicking 52 out. Not sure how many personal fouls he has had this year but it has got to be about 15

Lol my time has come and gone and we whipped Gilmer. Granted it has been over 20 years since I played. I do hope Traylor shows a little more class this year though.

That was one of the games that made me really dislike Traylor. He was up big with about 30 seconds left in the half and called a time out to try and score again before the half was over. Topped it off by coming back out in the 3rd quarter throwing deep passes with the first team. I'm all for keeping starters in for a lot of the game to stay crisp and Gilmer was going to the playoffs but that was ridiculous.

Congrats Kilgore. You guys play with class. 96 &7 are very good players. SH fought hard just a little out matched.

We do have a couple that I would like to see clean up their act and I have seen coach Sartain address it on the sideline. That being said the comments are grossly exaggerated.

Just curious Baller23, is that how you feel or just smack talking. I'm not sure what Athens has. I know SH will have to do better on offense or they will struggle weekly. Can't count on 2 defensive TD's every week.

Nice win SH. Enjoy the win but we will have to get better offensively. I do like the direction coach Sartain has the program headed. Much more discipline this year.
