I tell you what big boy, Like i said i work in the Gilmer area everyday, I eat in the old Cowboy Cafe everyday, if you see a power truck outside, come in and holler for the idiot, I have the upmost respect for the Gilmer program, my hopes is the Lobos can get there, one day soon, all the QBs you mentioned are good ones, one great, some i don't know, I watched the Godfrey a couple of times, against Kilgore in 09, i sat on the Kilgore side with a new girlfriend, expecting to see a Kilgore domination, a saw a jugernaut team, just kill Kilgore, my lobos did not handle Kilgore like that, we did beat them but not like that, where is the Godfrey kid by the way? he is the real deal. My point is there they don't have a definite QB right now, atleast that's what im hearing, Parrish, Barr, is the kids im hearing around town, and neither cam thru the program as QBs, unlike what i see in the Carthage program....just sayn Gilmer might want to take note of that...if hurt your feelings, well so be it, just repeating what im hearing and the obvious...watch the name calling, u might get in over your head!.....Caraway at Longview, is a decent QB but not a Godfrey, he is about status quo, what we have for the last several years, we are throwing the ball more, but I would like to see us install, a real pass threat, and keep d's ownest like Gilmers, the Gilmer games i have attended, i was impressed, just a great mix, you never knew what was coming next, again that 09 team, probably one of the best offenses i ever watch in HS football....simmer down .....

Hey dude, ive watched u make an idiot of urself, time and time again on here, I am a Lobo diehard but just did'nt post much, alot due to stupid posts made by pipe dreaming homers like you who spout nonsense, and have absolutely have no humility what so ever, we hav'nt one a State Championship, since before Word War II, and , say that a couple of times, and let it soak in! We have the best talent pool in the state, even in 5A, and the closest we've really gotten, was when we were in 4a, only to get destroyed, by a team, that is a complete football team, and one that has a true passing game! Your nonsense of dishing these other schools, in 3A, because we are 5A, seriously u sound like your 8, they get it done with a third of the enrollment we have, and beleive me, a couple of those teams, would have made us look silly,, especially that 09 Gilmer team, or the 08 Carthage team,, dude those teams have the hardware, we have the talent to be mentioned with those teams, but we are not getting it done....Coach King see's it I promise you, he has to be the one to make the changes, and get a new plan, and bring a new motivation to the Lobos, and bring us back to domination! Coach King is a great guy, nice guy, my question is, is that big prize drive still there, or has he fallen in status quo...When u got the talent that he has , and still hasnt grabbed the big prize..you gotta get a new plan... Absolutely argeed! Caraway at 5'10" has a descent arm, but the jury is still out, he missed alot of throws last year, but King is most likely going to try and pound it..and my feelings the results will be the same... Bivins is a great kid, and will probably do ok at the next level as a db... ET depended on the big RB, that'll get u out of district, but it will not win it all for you, in these times...Gotta be able to do both, and do both well, them C Dogs do a great job at that, do you know if ya'll are playing 7 on 7 any where, i wanna go watch Bogunshutz..?

Be interested to see if Caraway, has got any sharper from last year, he missed alot throws last year, he did finish with about 2400 yds, but if more would have been better thrown, he would have been alot higher, had alot of drops also...

With the amout of talent, that comes out for Lobo football year and year out , why can't we become the Lake Travis of NET, hopefully King has opened his eyes, and seen the great offense's like Lake Travis, that really open up the field, and spread the ball around, and put up big scoring #'s, instead of trying to grind it out on the ground, and win by a squeaker, again im just saying with the amount of kids we have, there's some RGIII's in there somewhere... We get the passing game boing big time, with the D we always have, we will be a serious threat to win it all finally, heaven knows we go the talent!

Can King come in to the modern era, and develope a true passing game threat?

Anyone know if Carthage is playing any 7 on 7, id like to go watch Bogunshutz, hopefully i spelled it right, he can really sling it!

I work in Gilmer, the way I hear it, is no definite on the QB job yet, im not a Gilmer fan, but they have had some success, but they do seem to have some coaching issues in their program, in identifying and creating QB's for their program, and bringing them along! Surratt has a great program for that at Carthage, in the last 5 years their QB's have been lights out..not picking on Gilmer, but their program has some room for improvement....just say'n! My Lobos , well let's just say they need a total makeover...King is a good coach, but he aint get'n it done!
