Well this is just me but...2008-2018 I don't remember not noun player from them teams. They prolly were good. The the real CUJO years...the Fred Talley getting his head knocked completely off at Rose stadium...that's CUJO!

3 quarterfinals, 2 semifinals, and other playoff appearances multiple top ten and top 5 state rankings, multiple district title and you don’t remember any players lol.

I like JT...even root for them but I don't think they will ever get back CUJO mode...

We just got a new coach this season after over a decade. Gotta give him some time to clean up the mess lol. This team was already better than anticipated a few miscues kept this from being a playoff season. 2-8 to 6-4 is improvement, now you turn 6-4 to a 8-2 or 9-1

Finished the season with a 6-4 record and missed the playoffs for the third straight season. With that being said the future for cujo is bright. A big portion of the office will be back next season. About the same with the defense. Now it will be a wait and see game. To see who will be in the new district and who will be on board for the preseason games. The run game the first part of this offseason that will need work.

that is all I can think of right now.

Next year we will compete for the district title and home field advantage, this team will BE REALLY GOOD! Can’t wait man!

Name one thing that McNorth does better than Forney.

Do they have a better coach? No.

Do they have a talent advantage? No.

Will McNorth have home field? No.

Forney will win by multiple possessions.

McNorth is still a decent playoff team though.

Mcnorth offense is better than forney's offense. Forney is a one trip pony on offense with their runningback, Mcnorth has weapons at all positions. I do think McNorth is more talented than Forney. North won't have home field but they do play well on the road. You do remember that McNorth beat Lancaster who forney had to beat in overtime to squeak out by one point? They can win this.

Lmao it was my choice to walk away from 🗑️ 💩 show TISD is lol. Still been in game 8+ years with a lot more to come. I'm not yo "armchair coach" like some of you 👀

Holmes said it was “his choice” also to leave but anybody that knows the real story knows that wasn’t the case. But hey you tell everybody on here what you want them to think. Also I’m not a “armchair” coach I actually coached and taught in the DFW in a pretty respectable district the last few years. But carry on.

Congrats to Judson 8th and Judson 7th on their undefeated seasons.

Longview has a ton coming up the pipeline. Judson 8th has some special players (they killed Three Lakes last night who was the best MS in Tyler 8th this year) but the 7th grade class as a whole is something special. Foster 7th only loss one game this year (Judson).

what's in the water in LV man lol, how do y'all churn these dudes out like this!

The very last year we were in what is now 5A we played in the state quarterfinals. The first year after we dropped we played in the state semifinals and the next year we played for a state championship. We've been 3 or 4 rounds deep many times since then and nobody has ever accused us of having a soft schedule. Heck, we played Texas High in non-district 6 straight years. How many 4A teams are lining up to do that? We even travelled to Houston to play a damn near 6A Corpus Christi team for a few years.

When you put cedar hill, euless, Trinity, longview, and Tyler legacy on schedule then we can talk.

That’s not even true. Lindale and CH are in the mix with Kilgore year in and year out. Lindale beat Kilgore twice in 2020 and CH beat them twice last year

When comparing it to DFW district I’m sorry there is no comparison. The 5th and 6th place team in our district. Lancaster and Lufkin would beat everybody in this district by a landslide. It’s a reason CH coach didn’t wanna schedule to play us even during our recent down years. Even in our down year we would’ve been a top 2-3 team in this district.

Bruh, Greg Ward left in 2012. JT has had several great seasons since then.

They really on been bad in 2019, 2020, and 2022.  And still made the playoffs in 2019.

I agree the program has fallen off, but it may be headed in the right direction with the new coach.

regardless, JT is much better than Lindale and WH.

I guess he forgot we went 4 rounds deep in 2018. He just spewing bad information. He must’ve had a bad run in a whatever program he was under and now he salty lol.

If you're looking for programs that have sustained success in football, stay away from Tyler Legacy and Tyler High (Normally letdowns).

As many have stated before, coming from LH you're best best maybe Lindale or Whitehouse if you're "staying in Tyler". Would also echo those saying Kilgore, would be worth a visit.

Dude just stop lol. Tyler high and Longview produce the most D1 players consistently out of all the east Texas teams. Outside of the last 2-3 years there hasn’t been a “letdown” lol. The most nfl talent in east Texas comes from Tyler high and Longview. You won’t be a just a number at Tyler high because our numbers are low for a D1 5A program. Tyler high and Longview have the most wins out of any program in east Texas. So don’t spew lies.

I expect this to be a good game.  Lobos secondary is going to get tested.  It’s going to be interesting to see how Woods defends against the Lobos.

It most likely will be a slow churning game much like McNorth and not Lufkin. Lobos will score and get separation and grind out the second half.

Honestly glad to see so many teams in our district playing better as a whole than last year…makes everyone in the district stronger come playoff time.

Woods will try to slow this game down as much as he can. He not really big about getting style points. He is ok winning 10-7 or 28-25 if that’s what it takes. I do think this game will be more competitive than past years and pretty fun to watch. I would be shocked if we lose by anything less than 3TDs. We just start way way too slow to keep up with y’all.
