Which I said last night I think woods doesn’t care about scoring 40+ every Friday night. As long as he can keep your team out the Endzone and he gets 17 to 20 points, he is ok with that. I like defense to be better than the offense I love that we are keeping teams under 14 haven’t had that in a while

They probably saw that our defense is pretty fast and will get to ball.

Also not having Mcmiller at running back this this week didn’t help. Side note Freshman Cadarius Mcmiller Received his second offer from SMU. Now has Nebraska and smu under his belt. Texas has also shown interest. Also Freshman Wr Tre Harrison Received his first offer from SMU. The Future is looking good for Tyler!

Scared of what our offense or our defense. I wouldn’t be scared of our offense right now.

What I took away from it was time of possession for north Mesquite was really long. Our offense barley had the ball all game. North Mesquite had super drives because of penalties commited by us. So north would drive and then stall but we would save them by commiting a penalty at the wrong time. Also when we did have the ball on offense we’re draining the clock and the tempo was really slow. But I also think woods doesn’t really care if we really care about scoring high score games. I think he is ok with the 24-14 21-7 type of games. Which of course are not pretty looking games but they get the job done. 9 penalties will kill you so.. sloppy game. But defense has been on fire offense is so so. Julian Dews had 3 sacks last night. Zachaun Williams had 2 picks one went for a 100 int pick 6 and a blocked field goal.

If we play like tonight we lose, if we play like we did against horn we win. Pretty simple.

Very ugly game. Penalties is ultimately what kept us from scoring more 14 points were left on the board due to penalties. And another 7 when you fumble right at the 8 yard line. Also we barley had the ball for really any point in game because we had so many penalties that it kept north’s drive super long on for them to go 3 and out every. I could count on my fingers how many times we actually had the ball on offense. Wasn’t many times. Gotta clean it up because mc north won’t fall down

Exactly 100+ our district needs face the reality that Lancaster just simply wasn’t better than Mc north and the aren’t as good as most people think. End of story lol. All these excuses and what “COULD” have happen don’t mean anything. Lol

Exactly Lancaster is not as good. Honestly they kinda got bullied by north. I watched that game and you could tell they just didn’t have it. The coaching was also really subpar. Lancaster is a one trip pony with Lacy. Once he went down if got ugly offensively. They remind of legacy with Miller. You take him out and it’s a wrap.

Is the receiver that’s #2 still hurt? Idk his name

The offense is extremely young in the skills positions. But they are getting more comfortable every week, the receiving game needs work, but slowing getting better. We are really small at receiver but they are aggressive and can jump up and get it! Not having our starting running back cooper the last 2 weeks has given guys like Mcmiller and Arriaga valuable playing time and I love it. Also don’t think woods philosophy is to be a flashy offense that scores 40+ a game I think he is ok with the 24-14, 28–21 type of games against really good teams, and I’m ok with that as long as you get the win.

I just hope we can keep it rolling

I this will be Tyler’s first big win of the season hopefully. I don’t think it should be close but we are young and haven’t been on the road this season so it will be interesting to see how our new guys respond to playing on the road. Good thing it’s against north Mesquite. Give me Tyler by 14
