Timpson game was the worst. A 40 yrd dash for every penalty yard on Monday might make you think twice. But in today's world that's probably not allowed anymore.

All teams did against garrison after the alto game was bull rush. Every play looked like a jailbreak screen. The wildcat plays were off in timing because the back dropped more snaps than he cleanly caught. Eye candy is better than sour grapes.

Yes that's 95% of the time with a chance of 4 ball carriers on each snap not just 1. And I dont want to hear about keying off what the linemen are doing that's hog wash. 16 17 and young 18 year old kids just flow to the ball carrier. This ain't the sec.

I hope it's someone who runs under center with some form of the flexbone or wing t. I know it takes time to learn but we ain't learned the spread in the last 8 years.

Teams seasons are rated on winning district or going 10-0. I'm saying develop a system over the course of a season. Take a few lumps if you need to. I made the comment at halftime last night about reg 3 without writing a book. I got blasted by 2 individuals over it. Another person even said the sa offense was simple. One of the same people ask to define simple. Simple is placing your best athlete at qb and running your offense 99% of the time with him. That's plain and simple. Everyone says oh we can pass we can run multiple sets. Plain and simple is if those passes and multiple set are not your bread and butter you end up with burnt toast. Haters hate if you want to but I'm saying div 2 you can get away with this if you have a Reggie Davis or the kid from bremond a couple years ago. Div1 and up you need the total package to right the ship to ever win the ship. So my comment was all that in a nutshell for time purposes and trying to type on this phone. I work with several guys from SA. I have heard all week that mason was slow and that SA would win by 40. I told em that you can't judge them by film and that they were well coached.

East Texas coaches have to learn that these QB run around the end only work over here. No knock on any players just on systems.

Them kickoffs are tough. Seen em before against garrison. They would kick em so hard off their shins they couldnt react.

I don't post much on here and never boast. S.A. has a very physical looking team that played up to match it yesterday. I hope #5 Is ok he took a hard hit and kept playing rest of half with cobwebs. The switch to #11 changed the outcome of the game. It was evident that SA wanted to limit the possessions for garrison and they did. The fumble at the 50 when #3 didn't get the pitch clean was killer on the second drive of the the 2nd half for Garrison. The 80 plus drive S.A. had ate up most of the 3rd and limited at least 1 maybe 2. I will say this and not saying it changed anything but on that last scoring drive S.A. had, on 4th and 8 they ran a screen play line took off qb drops back and sees receiver open and threw over the line down field. The center was there when he caught the ball. Same thing happend twice no ref called it. Not sure if #11knows this or not but it might cost you later. All of the 3rd and 4th and long plays S.A. made by throwing up those 50/50 balls down the middle on our vertically challenged dbs was there all day long. Every one knew it was coming just couldn't stop it or out jump it. And those damn kickoffs SA never even had to think about punting but if you had 2 times in the 1st half and pushed garrison back it was probably tied at half. They say run watcha brung well Garrison sure as hell ran #22. Not sure why they went to the direct snap to him so much lots of bad snaps when they do that. Garrison had a lot more in their bag than they let out yesterday. Think they were saving for a later date we will never know now. Great game for a outsider to watch but bleed maroon so it sucked for me. Let's just say S.A. was 1 play better yesterday and all shake hands and move on. Reg 3 has been beat by reg 4 for 2 long. Don't bang each other up to bad next week. Saw where mason gave up 14 this week. First time since game 1 that they gave up more than 1 score. Sorry for the long post just how i see it.

Garrison has never even sniffed the old 3a level. Been lower tier of old 2a and very bottom of new 3a. Only drop was the 2010-2011 seasons.

Will someone please explain to this confused individual what d2 and d1 is. He says no one can beat mart or muenster in d2 Falls city can't be beat or Wellington. Well last I checked mart and muenster are reg 3 d2. Somebody's got to lose for someone to move on to the semis. Dont think uil gives out 4 state champs in d2. Hell, I maybe confused now. D2 truck stops everybodys in reg 3, im going to be selfemployed soon. Red Sox just won the world series only because they wouldn't play teneha.
